Abstract

Provided are novel treprostinil salts as well as methods for making treprostinil salts.

Claims (7)

1 . A composition comprising at least 30 g of a potassium salt of treprostinil in a chemically-stable, crystalline solid form.

2 . The composition of claim 1 comprising at least 40 g of the potassium salt of treprostinil in the chemically-stable, crystalline solid form.

3 . The composition of claim 1 comprising at least 60 g of the potassium salt of treprostinil in the chemically-stable, crystalline solid form.

4 . The composition of claim 1 comprising at least 80 g of the potassium salt of treprostinil in the chemically-stable, crystalline solid form.

5 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein a purity of the potassium salt of treprostinil in the composition is at least 99%.

6 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein a purity of the potassium salt of treprostinil in the composition is at least 99.1%.

7 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein a melting temperature of the potassium salt of treprostinil is from 180° C. to 182° C.
