Abstract

A light device including a cover, a light emitter including a first end, a second end, and an intermediate region, and a power board, in which the light emitter includes light sources including first and second light sources adjacent to the first end and the second end, respectively, each of the light sources including first and second contact electrodes, first and second electrode pads electrically connected to at least one of the first and second contact electrodes, respectively, a wavelength converter, and a connection line disposed on an insulation layer and electrically connected to the first or second electrode pad that is electrically connected to the light sources, in which a first distance between the first light source and a first region of the cover is different from a second distance between the second light source and a second region of the cover.

Claims (50)

1 . A light device, comprising:

a cover configured to transmit light;

a light source disposed in the cover and including a first end, a second end, and an intermediate region disposed between the first end and the second end; and

a power board configured to supply power to the light source,

wherein the light source comprises:

light emitters including a first light emitter and a second light emitter adjacent to the first end and the second end, respectively, each of the light emitters including a first contact electrode and a second contact electrode;

a first electrode pad electrically connected to at least one of the first contact electrodes of the light emitters;

a second electrode pad electrically connected to at least one of the second contact electrodes of the light emitters;

a wavelength converter configured to convert a wavelength of light emitted from at least one of the light emitters; and

a connection line disposed on an insulation layer and electrically connected to the first electrode pad or the second electrode pad that is electrically connected to at least one of the light emitters,

wherein a first distance between the first light emitter and a first region of the cover is different from a second distance between the second light emitter and a second region of the cover, and

wherein the first end of the light source is electrically connected to the power board.

2 . The light device of claim 1 , wherein the second end of the light source is spaced apart from the power board.

3 . The light device of claim 1 , wherein the first distance is greater than the second distance.

4 . The light device of claim 1 , wherein a third distance measured as a shortest distance between a third light emitter disposed in the intermediate region and a third region of the cover is different from the first distance or the second distance.

5 . The light device of claim 4 , wherein the first distance is greater than the third distance.

6 . The light device of claim 4 , wherein the second distance is greater than the third distance.

7 . The light device of claim 1 , wherein the light emitters are connected to the connection line in series.

8 . The light device of claim 1 , wherein the light emitters are arranged in a combination of serial and parallel connections.

9 . A light device, comprising:

a light source disposed in a cover and including a first end, a second end, and an intermediate region between the first end and the second end; and

a power board configured to supply power to the light source,

wherein the light source comprises:

light emitters including a first light emitter and a second light emitter that are closest, among the light emitters, to the first end and the second end, respectively, each of the light emitters including a first contact electrode and a second contact electrode;

a first electrode pad electrically connected to at least one of the first contact electrodes of the light emitters;

a second electrode pad electrically connected to at least one of the second contact electrodes of the light emitters;

a wavelength converter configured to convert a wavelength of light emitted from at least one of the light emitters; and

a connection line disposed on an insulation layer and electrically connected to the first electrode pad or the second electrode pad that is electrically connected to at least one of the light emitters,

wherein the wavelength converter covers at least two light emitters, and

wherein a first distance measured as a shortest distance between the first light emitter and a first region of the cover is different from a second distance measured as a shortest distance between the second light emitter and a second region of the cover.

10 . The light device of claim 9 , wherein the first end of the light source is connected to the power board and the second end of the light source is spaced apart from the power board.

11 . The light device of claim 9 , wherein a third distance measured as a shortest distance between a third light emitter disposed in the intermediate region and a third region of the cover is different from the first distance or the second distance.

12 . The light device of claim 11 , wherein the first distance is greater than the third distance.

13 . The light device of claim 11 , wherein the third distance is smaller than the second distance.

14 . The light device of claim 9 , wherein the light emitters are connected to the connection line in series.

15 . The light device of claim 9 , wherein the light emitters are arranged in a combination of serial and parallel connections.

16 . A light device, comprising:

a light source disposed in a cover and including a first end, a second end, and an intermediate region between the first end and the second end; and

a power board configured to supply power to the light source,

wherein the light source comprises:

light emitters including a first light emitter disposed in the intermediate region and a second light emitter that is closest, among the light emitters, to the second end, each of the light emitters including a first contact electrode and a second contact electrode;

a first electrode pad electrically connected to at least one of the first contact electrodes of the light emitters;

a second electrode pad electrically connected to at least one of the second contact electrodes of the light emitters;

a wavelength converter configured to convert a wavelength of light emitted from at least one of the light emitters; and

a connection line disposed on an insulation layer and electrically connected to the first electrode pad or the second electrode pad that is electrically connected to at least one of the light emitters, and

wherein a first distance measured as a shortest distance between the first light emitter and a first region of the cover is different from a second distance measured as a shortest distance between the second light emitter and a second region of the cover.

17 . The light device of claim 16 , wherein the light source further includes a third light emitter that is closest, among the light emitters, to the first end the second distance is different from a third distance measured as a shortest distance between the third light emitter and a third region of the cover.

18 . The light device of claim 17 , wherein the third distance is greater than the first distance.

19 . The light device of claim 16 , wherein the second distance is greater than the first distance.

20 . The light device of claim 16 , wherein the second end of the light source is connected to the power board and the second end of the light source is spaced apart from the power board.
