Abstract

A display device includes a display panel mounted on a curved surface, and driver circuits including circuit elements which are mounted on a plurality of plane surfaces provided on the back of the curved surface in a stepwise shape along the curved surface.

Claims (25)

1 . An electronic device comprising:

a light-transmitting housing;

a base; and

a flexible display panel comprising a pixel portion that comprises an electroluminescence element, the flexible display panel being located between the light-transmitting housing and the base,

wherein the base comprises a periphery region, a first region and a second region which is deeper than the first region,

wherein, in a plan view, the first region and the second region are located inside the periphery region, and the first region is located between the second region and the periphery region,

wherein the first region of the base and a printed board overlap with each other,

wherein the second region of the base and a battery overlap with each other,

wherein the periphery region of the base and a curved display region of the flexible display panel overlap with each other, and

wherein the periphery region of the base comprises a region not overlapping with a display region of the flexible display panel.

2 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the flexible display panel is electrically connected to the printed board through a through hole of the base.

3 . An electronic device comprising:

a light-transmitting housing;

a base; and

a flexible display panel comprising a pixel portion that comprises an electroluminescence element, the flexible display panel being located between the light-transmitting housing and the base,

wherein the base comprises a first side portion, a second side portion opposite to the first side portion, a third side portion, a fourth side portion opposite to the third side portion, a first region, and a second region which is deeper than the first region,

wherein, in a plan view, the first region and the second region are located between the first side portion and the second side portion, the first region and the second region are located between the third side portion and the fourth side portion, and the first region is located between the second region and the first side portion,

wherein the first region of the base and a printed board overlap with each other,

wherein the second region of the base and a battery overlap with each other,

wherein the third side portion of the base and a curved display region of the flexible display panel overlap with each other, and

wherein the second side portion of the base comprises a region not overlapping with a display region of the flexible display panel.

4 . The electronic device according to claim 3 , wherein the flexible display panel is electrically connected to the printed board through a through hole of the base.

5 . The electronic device according to claim 3 ,

wherein the fourth side portion of the base and a curved display region of the flexible display panel overlap with each other, and

wherein the first side portion of the base comprises a region not overlapping with the display region of the flexible display panel.
