Abstract

A display apparatus including a display, and a processor configured to execute one or more instructions stored in a memory to identify that a first audio input/output device and a second audio input/output device, through which audio data is to be output by using a Bluetooth communication protocol, are connected, and based on identifying that different Bluetooth communication profiles are used in Bluetooth communication for outputting the audio data to the first audio input/output device and the second audio input/output device, control a communication interface to delay the audio data output to one of the first audio input/output device and the second audio input/output device for a preset period of time by using a synchronization buffer and then output the audio data, in order to synchronize the audio data output to the first audio input/output device with the audio data output to the second audio input/output device.

Claims (58)

1 . A display apparatus comprising:

a display;

a synchronization buffer;

a memory storing one or more instructions; and

a processor configured to execute the one or more instructions stored in the memory to:

control the display to display a multi-window that includes a first window displaying a first image of content, and a second window displaying a second image of the content,

mix first audio data corresponding to the first image displayed in the first window and second audio data corresponding to the second image displayed in the second window, to thereby obtain mixed audio data,

based on the second window relating to a voice call function, mix the mixed audio data with voice call sound, to thereby obtain mixed audio and voice call sound data,

signal-convert the mixed audio data according to a first Bluetooth profile,

signal-convert the mixed audio and voice call sound data according to a second Bluetooth profile that is different from the first Bluetooth profile,

use the synchronization buffer to delay the signal-converted mixed audio and voice call sound data by a delay time provided by the synchronization buffer, to synchronize the signal-converted mixed audio and voice call sound data and the signal-converted mixed audio data,

output the signal converted mixed audio data to a first audio input/output device by a Bluetooth communication protocol, and

output the delayed signal converted mixed audio and voice call sound data to a second audio input/output device by the Bluetooth communication protocol.

2 . The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein

the first Bluetooth profile is an advanced audio distribution profile (A2DP) Bluetooth profile/output device, and

the second Bluetooth profile is a hands-free profile (HFP) Bluetooth profile.

3 . The display apparatus of claim 2 , wherein

the delay time is a preset period of time for synchronizing the signal-converted mixed audio and voice call sound data and the signal-converted mixed audio data.

4 . The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein a preset size of the synchronization buffer for providing the delay time corresponds to a size of a buffer provided in the first audio input/output device.

5 . The display apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the processor is further configured to execute the one or more instructions to:

control the display to display a graphical user interface allowing a user to adjust the delay time provided by the synchronization buffer, and

adjust the delay time provided the synchronization buffer according to a user input received through the graphical user interface.

6 . The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to execute the one or more instructions to:

control the display to display first content, and

obtain the first audio data corresponding to the first content.

7 . The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to execute the one or more instructions to:

identify a size of a buffer for the first Bluetooth profile included in the first audio input/output device, and

set the delay time provided by the synchronization buffer to be equal to the identified size of the buffer included in the first audio input/output device.

8 . A method comprising:

controlling a display of a display apparatus to display a multi-window that includes a first window displaying a first image of content, and a second window displaying a second image of the content,

mixing first audio data corresponding to the first image displayed in the first window and second audio data corresponding to the second image displayed in the second window, to thereby obtain mixed audio data,

based on the second window relating to a voice call function, mixing the mixed audio data with voice call sound, to thereby obtain mixed audio and voice call sound data,

signal-converting the mixed audio data according to a first Bluetooth profile,

signal-converting the mixed audio and voice call sound data according to a second Bluetooth profile that is different from the first Bluetooth profile,

using a synchronization buffer to delay the signal-converted mixed audio and voice call sound data by a delay time provided by the synchronization buffer, to synchronize the signal-converted mixed audio and voice call sound data and the signal-converted mixed audio data,

outputting the signal converted mixed audio data to a first audio input/output device by a Bluetooth communication protocol, and

outputting the delayed signal converted mixed audio and voice call sound data to a second audio input/output device by the Bluetooth communication protocol.

9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein

the first Bluetooth profile is an advanced audio distribution profile (A2DP) Bluetooth profile, and

the second Bluetooth profile is a hands-free profile (HFP) Bluetooth profile.

10 . The method of claim 8 , wherein

the delay time is a preset period of time for synchronizing the signal-converted mixed audio and voice call sound data and the signal-converted mixed audio data.

11 . The method of claim 8 , wherein a preset size of the synchronization buffer for providing the delay time corresponds to a size of a buffer provided in the first audio input/output device.
