Abstract

A flexible display panel and a display device are provided. A first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer are provided on a surface of a light-emitting side of the display panel. The first adhesive layer covers a bendable portion and extends toward a direction of the display area, and the second adhesive layer is located on a side of the first adhesive layer away from the display area and connected to the first adhesive layer. The flexible display panel and the display device proposed in the present application can relieve a problem of cracks on both sides of a non-display area and improve product reliability.

Claims (23)

1 . A display device, comprising a flexible display panel, a supporting backplate, a first backplate, a second backplate, and a filling gasket;

wherein the flexible display panel comprises a display area and a non-display area located at a periphery of the display area, the non-display area comprises a first extension portion, a bendable portion, and a second extension portion sequentially connected in a direction away from the display area, a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer are provided on a light-emitting side of the flexible display panel, and the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer are both located in the non-display area; the first adhesive layer is configured to cover the bendable portion and extend along a direction from the bendable portion toward the display area, and the second adhesive layer is located on a side of the first adhesive layer away from the display area and connected to the first adhesive layer;

wherein the supporting backplate is provided on a non-light emitting side of the flexible display panel and is configured to at least cover the display area of the flexible display panel;

wherein the first backplate is configured to cover the display area and the first extension portion;

wherein the second backplate is located in the second extension portion;

wherein the filling gasket is disposed on a side of the supporting backplate away from the flexible display panel, so that in response to the non-display area being in a bending state, the filling gasket is located on a side of the supporting backplate facing the second backplate, and two opposite surfaces of the filling gasket in a thickness direction are in contact with the supporting backplate and the second backplate, respectively; and

wherein a foam adhesive layer is provided between at least one of the first backplate and the second backplate as well as the supporting backplate.

2 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein when the non-display area is bent to the non-light emitting side of the flexible display panel through the bendable portion, and the supporting backplate is disposed between the first backplate and the second backplate.

3 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein a polarizing layer is provided on the light-emitting side of the flexible display panel, and the polarizing layer is configured to at least cover the display area.

The display device according to claim 3 , wherein a predetermined distance between a point of the polarizing layer closest to the bendable portion and a point of the bendable portion closest to the polarizing layer is provided along a direction from the display area toward the non-display area, and the predetermined distance is greater than or equal to 550 μm.

5 . The display device according to claim 3 , wherein the first adhesive layer is connected to the polarizing layer and is configured to extend in a direction away from the display area.

6 . The display device according to claim 3 , wherein at least one driving chip is bonded to the light-emitting side of the flexible display panel, and the driving chip is located on a side of the second adhesive layer away from the display area.

The display device according to claim 6 , wherein on the light-emitting side of the flexible display panel, the polarizing layer, the first adhesive layer, the second adhesive layer, and the driving chip are arranged in sequence along a direction from the display area toward the non-display area.

8 . The display device according to claim 6 , wherein a printed circuit board is provided on the light-emitting side of the flexible display panel, and the printed circuit board is located on a side of the driving chip away from the display area.

9 . The display device according to claim 3 , wherein an optical adhesive layer is provided on a side of the polarizing layer away from the flexible display panel.

10 . The display device according to claim 3 , further comprising a cover plate provided on a side of the polarizing layer away from the flexible display panel, wherein the cover plate is configured to cover at least the display area of the flexible display panel.

11 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein a material of the filling gasket is at least one of silica gel, polyimide, polypropylene, and polymethyl methacrylate.

12 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the first adhesive layer is a UV adhesive.

13 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the second adhesive layer is a polyethylene terephthalate layer.

14 . The display device according to claim 10 , wherein the cover plate comprises a flexible substrate and a hardened film layer laminated on one side of the flexible substrate.

15 . The display device according to claim 14 , wherein the flexible substrate is a polymer material of polyimide, cyclo olefin polymer, or polyethylene terephthalate.

16 . The display device according to claim 14 , wherein a thickness of the flexible substrate is no greater than 50 μm.

17 . The display device according to claim 14 , wherein the hardened film layer is a film structure deposited on one surface of the flexible substrate, and a thickness of the hardened film layer is no greater than 10 μm.
