Abstract

A display panel includes a plurality of first pixel parts disposed in a first row, a plurality of second pixel parts disposed in a second row and including a first pixel part that includes a first pixel circuit and a first light emitting element which are electrically separated from each other, and a second pixel part that includes a second pixel circuit and a second light emitting element which are electrically separated from each other. The first light emitting element of the first pixel part is electrically connected to the second pixel circuit of the second pixel part.

Claims (58)

1 . A display panel comprising:

a first data line, a second data line and a third data line sequentially arranged in a first direction;

a first row pixel part disposed in a first row; and

a second row pixel part disposed in a second row, the second row pixel part comprising:

a first pixel circuit, a second pixel circuit and a third pixel circuit sequentially arranged in the first direction and connected to the first data line, the second data line and the third data line, respectively; and

a first light emitting element emitting a first color of light and connected to the third pixel circuit, a second light emitting element emitting a second color of light and connected to the second pixel circuit and a third light emitting element emitting a third color of light,

wherein the second data line and the third data line are arranged adjacent to each other and each of the second data line and the third data line overlaps the second light emitting element not to overlap the first light emitting element and the third light emitting element.

2 . The display panel of claim 1 , wherein the first row pixel part comprises a plurality of pixels, and

wherein each of the plurality of pixels of the first row pixel part comprises a pixel circuit and a light emitting element that is electrically connected to the pixel circuit.

3 . The display panel of claim 2 , wherein the first data line, the second data line and the third data line receive a first color signal, a second color signal and a third color signal, respectively.

4 . The display panel of claim 2 , further comprising:

a first scan line connected to the plurality of pixels of the first row pixel part; and

a second scan line connected to the first pixel circuit, the second pixel circuit and the third pixel circuit.

5 . The display panel of claim 1 , wherein the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element emit light having colors different from each other.

6 . The display panel of claim 1 , wherein a connection line is electrically connected to the third pixel circuit.

7 . The display panel of claim 1 , further comprising a fourth data line and a fifth data line,

wherein the second row pixel part further comprising:

a fourth pixel circuit and a fifth pixel circuit connected to the fourth data line and the fifth data line, respectively; and

a fourth light emitting element connected to the fourth pixel circuit,

wherein the third light emitting element is connected to the fifth pixel circuit, and

wherein the first pixel circuit and the second pixel circuit overlap the first light emitting element in a plan view, and the third pixel circuit and the fourth pixel circuit overlap the third light emitting element in a plan view.

8 . An electronic device comprising:

a display panel comprising a first data line, a second data line, a third data line, a first row pixel part disposed in a first row and a second row pixel part disposed in a second row;

a driving controller which receives an input image signal and output an output image signal corresponding to the input image signal; and

a data driving controller which provides a data signal to each of the first data line, the second data line, and the third data line in response to the output image signal,

wherein the second row pixel part comprises:

a first pixel circuit, a second pixel circuit and a third pixel circuit sequentially arranged in a first direction and connected to the first data line, the second data line and the third data line, respectively; and

a first light emitting element emitting a first color of light and connected to the third pixel circuit, a second light emitting element emitting a second color of light and connected to the second pixel circuit and a third light emitting element emitting a third color of light,

wherein the second data line and the third data line are arranged adjacent to each other and each of the second data line and the third data line overlaps the second light emitting element not to overlap the first light emitting element and the third light emitting element.

The electronic device of claim 8 , wherein the data driving controller provides the data signal corresponding to a first color light to the first data line, provides the data signal corresponding to a second color light to the second data line, and provides the data signal corresponding to a third color light to the third data line.

10 . The electronic device of claim 9 , wherein the first light emitting element emits the third color light and the second light emitting element emits the second color light.

11 . The electronic device of claim 10 , wherein the driving controller comprises:

an image processor which outputs a data signal corresponding to the input image signal; and

a data output circuit which outputs the output image signal in which an output order of the data signal is changed so that the data signal corresponding to a first color light is output to the first data line, the data signal corresponding to a second color light is output to the second data line, and the data signal corresponding to a third color light is output to the third data line.

12 . The electronic device of claim 8 , wherein the first row pixel part comprises a plurality of pixels, and

wherein each of the plurality of pixels of the first row pixel part comprises a pixel circuit and a light emitting element that is electrically connected to the pixel circuit.

13 . The electronic device of claim 8 , further comprising:

a first scan line connected to the pixels disposed in the first row pixel part; and

a second scan line connected to the first pixel circuit, the second pixel circuit and the third pixel circuit.

14 . The electronic device of claim 8 , wherein the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element emit light having colors different from each other.

15 . The electronic device of claim 8 , wherein the display panel further comprises a fourth data line and a fifth data line,

wherein the second row pixel part further comprising:

a fourth pixel circuit and a fifth pixel circuit connected to the fourth data line and the fifth data line, respectively; and

a fourth light emitting element connected to the fourth pixel circuit.

16 . A display device comprising:

a first data line, a second data line and a third data line sequentially arranged in a first direction;

a first row pixel part disposed in a first row; and

a second row pixel part disposed in a second row, the second row pixel part comprising:

a first pixel including a first pixel circuit connected to the first data line and a first light emitting element which is electrically separated from the first pixel circuit and emits a first color of light,

a second pixel including a second pixel circuit connected to the second data line and a second light emitting element which is electrically connected to the second pixel circuit and emits a second color of light, and

a third pixel including a third pixel circuit connected to the third data line and a third light emitting element which is electrically separated from the third pixel circuit and emits a third color of light,

wherein the first light emitting element is electrically connected to the third pixel circuit,

wherein the second data line and the third data line are arranged adjacent to each other and each of the second data line and the third data line overlaps the second light emitting element not to overlap the first light emitting element and the third light emitting element.

17 . The display device of claim 16 , wherein a connection line is electrically connected to the third pixel circuit.

18 . The display device of claim 16 , wherein the first pixel circuit overlaps the first light emitting element in a plan view and the third pixel circuit overlaps the third light emitting element in a plan view.

The display device of claim 16 , wherein the first data line transmits a first color signal corresponding to a first color, the second data line transmits a second color signal corresponding to a second color, and the third data line transmits a third color signal corresponding to a third color.

The display device of claim 19 , wherein the first light emitting element emits a third color light corresponding to the third color, the second light emitting element emits a second color light corresponding to the second color, and the third light emitting element emits a first color light corresponding to the first color.

21 . The display device of claim 16 , wherein first light emitting element, the second light emitting element and the third light emitting element sequentially disposed in the first direction.
