Abstract

A motor device includes a motor housing, a stator coil, and a temperature sensor. The motor housing accommodates the stator coil and the temperature sensor. In the motor housing, motor fins are provided on a motor outer peripheral surface. The motor fins are provided on a radially outer side of the stator coil. The temperature sensor is provided on a radially inner side of the stator coil. In the motor device, heat radiation of the stator coil toward the radially outer side is accelerated by the motor fins such that heat radiated from the stator coil toward the radially outer side is more than heat radiated from the stator coil toward the radially inner side.
