Abstract

A server identifies a condition impacting communication services at a premises housing devices. The server transmits, to multiple devices of multiple respective administrators, a message indicating the condition. The server creates a communication session for addressing the condition. The server adds accounts associated with the multiple devices of the multiple administrators to the communication session.

Claims (49)

1 . A method, comprising:

identifying, by a device located at a premises, a condition impacting communication services at the premises;

creating, by the device, a communication session for addressing the condition;

adding, by the device, accounts associated with multiple devices of multiple administrators to the communication session;

transmitting, by the device to the communication session, a message indicating the condition and including one or more selectable elements each associated with an action performed by the device for addressing the condition;

receiving, by the device, indications of selectable elements of the one or more selectable elements from at least a threshold proportion of the multiple devices; and

performing, by the device, the action associated with a most frequently indicated selectable element.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein transmitting the message indicating the condition comprises:

transmitting the message indicating the condition via a messaging application for real-time communication between two or more human-operated devices.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein performing the action associated with the most frequently indicated selectable element comprises:

performing, by the device, the action associated with each indicated selectable element of the one or more selectable elements.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein identifying the condition comprises invoking a webhook.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein identifying the condition comprises comparing a current status of an on-premises network device to a key performance indicator.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein identifying the condition comprises predicting a future time of high network load.

7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the condition is a conference hosted on the premises, and wherein predicting the future time of high network load is based on attendance confirmations associated with the conference.

8 . The method of claim 1 , comprising:

storing a data structure including conditions; and

generating the message using the data structure.

9 . At least one non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions operable to cause one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

identifying, by a device located at a premises, a condition impacting communication services at the premises;

creating, by the device, a communication session for addressing the condition;

adding, by the device, accounts associated with multiple devices of multiple administrators to the communication session;

transmitting, by the device to the communication session, a message indicating the condition and including one or more selectable elements each associated with an action performed by the device for addressing the condition;

receiving, by the device, indications of selectable elements of the one or more selectable elements from at least a threshold proportion of the multiple devices; and

performing, by the device, the action associated with a most frequently indicated selectable element.

10 . The at least one non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 9 , wherein transmitting the message indicating the condition comprises:

transmitting the message indicating the condition via a messaging application for communication between two or more human-operated devices.

11 . The at least one non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 9 , wherein performing the action associated with the most frequently indicated selectable element comprises:

performing, by the device, the action associated with each indicated selectable element of the one or more selectable elements.

12 . The at least one non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 9 , wherein identifying the condition comprises invoking at least one webhook.

13 . The at least one non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 9 , wherein identifying the condition comprises comparing a current status of an on-premises network device to a performance indicator.

14 . The at least one non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 10 , wherein the messaging application is associated with a platform for providing communication services at the premises.

15 . The at least one non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 9 , the operations comprising:

storing a data structure including conditions, wherein the message is generated using the data structure.

16 . A system, comprising:

memory hardware; and

processing circuitry configured to execute instructions stored in the memory hardware to:

identify, by a device located at a premises, a condition impacting communication services at the premises;

create, by the device, a communication session for addressing the condition;

add, by the device, accounts associated with multiple devices of multiple administrators to the communication session;

transmit, by the device to the communication session, a message indicating the condition and including one or more selectable elements each associated with an action performed by the device for addressing the condition;

receive, by the device, indications of selectable elements of the one or more selectable elements from at least a threshold proportion of the multiple devices; and

perform, by the device, the action associated with a most frequently indicated selectable element.

17 . The system of claim 16 , wherein to transmit the message indicating the condition comprises to:

transmit the message indicating the condition via a messaging application for communication between two or more devices.

18 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the instructions to perform the action associated with the most frequently indicated selectable element comprise instructions to:

perform the action associated with each indicated selectable element of the one or more selectable elements.

19 . The system of claim 16 , wherein to identify the condition comprises to invoke one or more webhooks.

20 . The system of claim 16 , wherein to identify the condition comprises to compare a current status of an on-premises network device to a stored indicator.
