Abstract

The present disclosure discloses a method by which a terminal receives downlink control information (DCI) in a wireless communication system. Particularly, the method is characterized by: receiving first information related to discontinuous reception (DRX); a timer for a DRX active time running on the basis of the first information; receiving, on the basis of the DRX active time, second information related to physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring adaptation; performing, on the basis of the second information, the PDCCH monitoring adaptation during a certain duration; and on the basis of a PDCCH monitoring occasion for a wake-up signal (WUS) being included within a duration in which the DRX active time and the certain duration overlap each other, receiving DCI including the WUS on the PDCCH monitoring occasion.

Claims (34)

1 . A method of receiving downlink control information (DCI) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

receiving first information on discontinuous reception (DRX);

running a timer for a DRX active time based on the first information;

receiving second information on physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring adaptation based on the DRX active time;

performing the PDCCH monitoring adaptation for a predetermined duration based on the second information; and

based on inclusion of a PDCCH monitoring occasion for a wake-up signal (WUS) within a duration in which the DRX active time and the predetermined duration overlap with each other, receiving DCI including the WUS on the PDCCH monitoring occasion.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the overlapping duration is not considered as the DRX active time.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the DCI is received even based on that the overlapping duration is considered as the DRX active time.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the DCI is received based on a power saving radio network temporary identifier (PS-RNTI).

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the DCI is received based on a cell radio network temporary identifier (C-RNTI), and

wherein the DCI has a different format from DCI format 2_6.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the PDCCH monitoring occasion corresponds to a Type3-PDCCH common search space (CSS).

7 . A user equipment (UE) configured to receive downlink control information (DCI) in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:

at least one transceiver;

at least one processor; and

at least one memory operably connected to the at least one processor and configured to store instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:

receiving first information on discontinuous reception (DRX) through the at least one transceiver;

running a timer for a DRX active time based on the first information;

receiving second information on physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring adaptation through the at least one transceiver based on the DRX active time;

performing the PDCCH monitoring adaptation for a predetermined duration based on the second information; and

based on inclusion of a PDCCH monitoring occasion for a wake-up signal (WUS) within a duration in which the DRX active time and the predetermined duration overlap with each other, receiving DCI including the WUS on the PDCCH monitoring occasion through the at least one transceiver.

8 . The UE of claim 7 , wherein the overlapping duration is not considered as the DRX active time.

9 . The UE of claim 7 , wherein the DCI is received even based on that the overlapping duration is considered as the DRX active time.

10 . The UE of claim 7 , wherein the DCI is received based on a power saving radio network temporary identifier (PS-RNTI).

11 . The UE of claim 7 , wherein the DCI is received based on a cell radio network temporary identifier (C-RNTI), and

wherein the DCI has a different format from DCI format 2_6.

12 . The UE of claim 7 , wherein the PDCCH monitoring occasion corresponds to a Type3-PDCCH common search space (CSS).

13 . A base station (BS) configured to transmit downlink control information (DCI) in a wireless communication system, the BS comprising:

at least one transceiver;

at least one processor; and

at least one memory operably connected to the at least one processor and configured to store instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:

transmitting first information on discontinuous reception (DRX) through the at least one transceiver;

transmitting second information on physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring adaptation through the at least one transceiver based on a DRX active time, wherein the DRX active time is based on the first information; and

based on inclusion of a PDCCH monitoring occasion for a wake-up signal (WUS) within a duration in which the DRX active time overlaps with a predetermined duration in which the PDCCH monitoring adaptation is performed based on the second information, transmitting DCI including the WUS on the PDCCH monitoring occasion through the at least one transceiver.
