Claims (7)

1. A polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence Cys Cys Glu Tyr Cys Cys Asn Pro Ala Cys Thr Gly Cys (SEQ ID NO:125) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

2. The polypeptide of claim 1 consisting of the amino acid sequence Cys Cys Glu Tyr Cys Cys Asn Pro Ala Cys Thr Gly Cys (SEQ ID NO:125) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

3. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the polypeptide of claim 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or excipient.

4. The polypeptide of claim 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the polypeptide activates the guanylate cyclase C receptor.

5. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the polypeptide of claim 2 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or excipient.

6. The polypeptide of claim 1 consisting of the amino acid sequence Cys Cys Glu Tyr Cys Cys Asn Pro Ala Cys Thr Gly Cys (SEQ ID NO:125).

7. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the polypeptide of claim 6 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or excipient.
