NRG-2 nucleic acid molecules, polypeptides, and diagnostic and therapeutic methods
View Patent ↗The invention features methods of treatment and diagnosis using NRG-2 polypeptides, nucleic acid molecules, and antibodies. The invention also provides novel NRG-2 polypeptides and nucleic acid molecules.
1. An isolated nucleic acid molecule comprising a sequence encoding a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NOs: 2 or 4.
2. An isolated nucleic acid molecule comprising the nucleic acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NOs: 1 or 3.
3. An isolated nucleic acid molecule consisting of the nucleic acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NOs: 1 or 3.
4. A vector comprising the nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 , operably linked to a promoter.
5. The vector of claim 4 , wherein said vector is an expression vector.
6. A transformed host cell comprising the vector of claim 5 .
7. A vector comprising the nucleic acid molecule of claim 3 , operably linked to a promoter.
8. The vector of claim 7 , wherein said vector is an expression vector.
9. A transformed host cell comprising the vector of claim 8 .
10. A method of producing a polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO: 2, said method comprising:
culturing a host cell comprising SEQ ID NO: 1 under conditions to express the polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO: 2, and
purifying said polypeptide from the cell culture.
11. A method of producing a polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO: 4, said method comprising:
culturing a host cell comprising SEQ ID NO: 3 under conditions to express the polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO: 4, and
purifying said polypeptide from the cell culture.
12. An isolated polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO: 2.
13. An isolated polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO: 4.
14. An isolated polypeptide consisting of SEQ ID NO: 2.
15. An isolated polypeptide consisting of SEQ ID NO: 4.
