Abstract

Compounds or their salts having general formulas (I) and (II): wherein s is an integer equal to 1 or 2, A is the radical of a drug that satisfies certain pharmacological tests, C and C 1 are bivalent radicals, and precursors of the radicals B and B 1 satisfy certain pharmacological tests.

Claims (26)

1. A compound or its salt having the following general formula (I):

A—B—C—N(O) 2   (I)

T 1 =(CO), O, S, or NR 1C , wherein R 1C is H, C 1 -C 5 alkyl, or a free valence;

B=—T B —X 2 —T BI wherein

T B and T BI are equal or different, T B is (CO) when T 1 is (CO), O, S, or NR 1C , wherein R 1C is as above defined, T B is O when T 1 is (CO), TBI is (CO) or O;

X 2 is a bivalent bridging group such as the corresponding precursor of B, having the formula Z′—T B —X 2 T BI —Z″ in which Z′, Z″ are independently H or OH, is selected from the following compounds:

Hydroxyacids: ferulic acid (DII), caffeic acid (DV), hydro caffeic acid (DVI), p-coumaric acid (DVII):

C is the bivalent —T C —Y— radical, wherein T C is (CO) when T BI is O, T C is O when T BI is (CO);
