1. A method for the treatment of carcinoma of the lung, pancreas, thyroid, bladder or colon in a human or animal in need thereof comprising administering an effective amount of
N-(4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-N′-(4-(2-carbamoyl-4-pyridyloxy)phenyl)urea of the formula:
N-(4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-N′-(4-(2-(N-methylcarbamoyl)-4-pyridyloxy)phenyl)urea of the formula:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
2. A method for the treatment of myeloid leukemia in a human in need thereof comprising administering an effective amount of
N-(4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-N′-(4-(2-carbamoyl-4-pyridyloxy)phenyl)urea of the formula:
N-(4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-N′-(4-(2-(N-methylcarbamoyl)-4-pyridyloxy)phenyl)urea of the formula:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
3. A method of claim 1 for the treatment of carcinoma of the lung in a human in need thereof.
4. A method of claim 1 for the treatment of carcinoma of the pancreas in a human in need thereof.
5. A method of claim 1 for the treatment of carcinoma of the thyroid in a human in need thereof.
6. A method of claim 1 for the treatment of carcinoma of the bladder in a human in need thereof.
7. A method of claim 1 for the treatment of carcinoma of the colon in a human in need thereof.
8. A method for the treatment of carcinoma of the lung, pancreas, thyroid, bladder or colon in a human or animal in need thereof comprising administering an effective amount of a tosylate salt of
N-(4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-N′-(4-(2-(N-methylcarbamoyl)-4-pyridyloxy)phenyl)urea of the formula:
9. A method for the treatment of myeloid leukemia in a human in need thereof comprising administering an effective amount of a tosylate salt of
N-(4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-N′-(4-(2-(N-methylcarbamoyl)-4-pyridyloxy)phenyl)urea of the formula:
10. A method of claim 8 for the treatment of carcinoma of the lung in a human in need thereof.
11. A method of claim 8 for the treatment of carcinoma of the pancreas in a human in need thereof.
12. A method of claim 8 for the treatment of carcinoma of the thyroid in a human in need thereof.
13. A method of claim 8 for the treatment of carcinoma of the bladder in a human in need thereof.
14. A method of claim 8 for the treatment of carcinoma of the colon in a human in need thereof.
15. A method for the treatment of villous colon adenoma comprising administering an effective amount of
N-(4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-N′-(4-(2-carbamoyl-4-pyridyloxy)phenyl)urea of the formula:
N-(4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-N′-(4-(2-(N-methylcarbamoyl)-4-pyridyloxy)phenyl)urea of the formula:

16. A method for the treatment of villous colon adenoma comprising administering an effective amount of a tosylate salt of
N-(4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-N′-(4-(2-(N-methylcarbamoyl)-4-pyridyloxy)phenyl)urea of the formula:
