Abstract

Novel metal-chelate complexes comprising aminocarboxylate ligands including substituted aromatic amide moieties, such as those having the formula wherein R 13 , A 1 , R 1 and R 2 are as defined herein, are disclosed.

Claims (2)

1. A compound having the name 10-[2-[[3,5-bis[(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)amino]-carbonyl]phenyl]amino]-2-oxoethyl]-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7-triacetic acid.

2. The gadolinium complex of the compound of claim 1 .
