Abstract

The purification and isolation of various genes which encode mammalian cell surface polypeptides. Nucleic acids, proteins, antibodies, and other reagents useful in modulating development of cells, e.g., lymphoid and myeloid, are provided, along with methods for their use.

Claims (12)

1. A binding compound comprising

an antigen binding fragment from an antibody, which specifically binds to SEQ ID NOs: 12 or 14.

2. The binding compound of claim 1 , wherein the binding compound is:

a) a polyclonal antibody;

b) a monoclonal antibody;

c) a humanized antibody or binding fragment thereof;

d) an Fab, Fv, or F(ab′) 2 fragment;

e) a single chain antibody;

f) binds to SEQ ID NOs:12 or 14 with a Kd with an affinity that is at least 30 micromolar; or

g) detectably labeled.

3. The binding compound of claim 1 , further comprising a carrier.

4. A kit comprising the binding compound of claim 1 in one or more compartments, and optionally, instructions for use and disposal.
