Abstract

The present invention relates to compositions containing novel proteins and methods of using those compositions for the diagnosis and treatment of immune related diseases.

Claims (19)

1. An isolated polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having at least 95% sequence identify to:

(a) the amino acid sequence of the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:12;

(b) an amino acid sequence consisting of amino acids 31-156 of the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:12; or

(c) the amino acid sequence of the polypeptide encoded by the full-length coding sequence of the cDNA deposited under ATCC accession number PTA-617;

wherein said isolated polypeptide induces T-cell proliferation.

2. The isolated polypeptide of claim 1 comprising an amino acid sequence having at least 99% sequence identify to:

(a) the amino acid sequence of the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:12;

(b) an amino acid sequence consisting of amino acids 31-156 of the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:12; or

(c) the amino acid sequence of the polypeptide encoded by the full-length coding sequence of the cDNA deposited under ATCC accession number PTA-617.

3. An isolated polypeptide comprising:

(a) the amino acid sequence of the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:12;

(b) an amino acid sequence consisting of amino acids 31-156 of the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:12; or

(c) the amino acid sequence of the polypeptide encoded by the full-length coding sequence of the cDNA deposited under ATCC accession number PTA-617;

wherein said isolated polypeptide induces T-cell proliferation.

4. The isolated polypeptide of claim 3 comprising the amino acid sequence of the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:12.

5. The isolated polypeptide of claim 3 comprising an amino acid sequence consisting of amino acids 31-156 of the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:12.

6. The isolated polypeptide of claim 3 comprising the amino acid sequence of the polypeptide encoded by the full-length coding sequence of the cDNA deposited under ATCC accession number PTA-617.

7. A chimeric polypeptide comprising a polypeptide according to claim 1 fused to a heterologous polypeptide.

8. The chimeric polypeptide of claim 7 , wherein said heterologous polypeptide is an epitope tag or an Fc region of an immunoglobulin.
