Abstract

The invention provides polypeptides that act both as an agonist of the GLP-1 receptor and an antagonist of the glucagon receptor. Such polypeptides are useful for treating individuals with type 2 diabetes or other metabolic disorders.

Claims (3)

1. A polypeptide consisting of SEQ ID NO:25.

2. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the polypeptide of claim 1 in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

3. The polypeptide of claim 1 wherein said polypeptide is PEGylated.
