Abstract

An apparatus for convening a liquid crystal display panel for moving various size unit liquid crystal display panels. The present invention includes a horizontal driving unit controlling a revolution of a motor, a plurality of screw shafts protruding out of the horizontal driving unit. A pair of robot arms having first and second ends, the first ends are supported by corresponding screw shafts and extend from the screw shafts, and a plurality of clamping units connected to the second ends of the robot arms.

Claims (45)

1. An apparatus for conveying a liquid crystal display panel, comprising;

a horizontal driving unit controlling a revolution of a motor;

a plurality of screw shafts protruding substantially parallel to each other from lateral sides of the horizontal driving unit at a predetermined distance from each other;

stoppers at ends of the plurality of screw shafts;

a pair of robot arms having first and second ends, the first ends are supported by corresponding screw shafts and extend from the screw shafts; and

a plurality of clamping units connected to the second ends of the robot arms

wherein the plurality of clamping units are configured to provide support to a face of the liquid crystal display panel.

2. The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a vertical driving unit connected to the horizontal driving unit with a rod for driving the horizontal driving unit in a vertical direction.

3. The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising support plates connected to the plurality of screw shafts and connected to the robot arms.

4. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the robot arms are driven by the revolution of the motor.

5. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of clamping units include at least two clamps separated from each other at a predetermined distance along a length of the pair of robot arms.

6. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the stoppers couple the screw shafts with each other.

7. An apparatus for conveying a liquid crystal display panel, comprising;

a horizontal driving unit controlling a revolution of a motor;

a plurality of screw shafts protruding substantially parallel to each other from lateral sides of the horizontal driving unit at a predetermined distance from each other;

stoppers at ends of the plurality of screw shafts;

a pair of robot arms having first and second ends, the first ends are supported by corresponding screw shafts and extend from the screw shafts; and

a plurality of clamping units connected to the second ends of the robot arms, the clamping units having at least three clamping units being configured to provide support to a face of the liquid crystal display panel.

8. The apparatus of claim 7 , further comprising a vertical driving unit connected to the horizontal driving unit with a rod for driving the horizontal driving unit in a vertical direction; and

support plates connected to the plurality of screw shafts and connected to the robot arms.

9. The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the robot arms are driven by the revolution of the motor.

10. The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the plurality the clamping units are separated from each other at a predetermined distance along a length of the pair of robot arms.

11. The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the stoppers couple the screw shafts with each other.

12. An apparatus for conveying a liquid crystal display panel, comprising;

a horizontal driving unit controlling a revolution of a motor;

a plurality of screw shafts protruding substantially parallel to each other from lateral sides of the horizontal driving unit at a predetermined distance from each other;

stoppers at ends of the plurality of screw shafts;

a pair of robot arms having first and second ends, the first ends being supported by corresponding screw shafts, the robot arm being extended from the screw shafts; and

a plurality of clamping units connected to the second ends of the robot arms, the clamping units having at least three clamping units for providing support to the liquid crystal display panel.

13. The apparatus of claim 12 , further comprising a vertical driving unit connected to the horizontal driving unit with a rod for driving the horizontal driving unit in a vertical direction.

14. The apparatus of claim 12 , further comprising support plates connected to the plurality of screw shafts and the robot arms.

15. The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein the robot arms are driven by the revolution of the motor.

16. The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein the robot arms move in an upward direction and a downward direction.

17. The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein the stoppers couple the screw shafts with each other.

18. An apparatus for conveying a liquid crystal display panel, comprising;

a horizontal driving unit controlling a revolution of a motor;

a plurality of screw shafts protruding substantially parallel to each other from lateral sides of the horizontal driving unit at a predetermined distance from each other;

stoppers at ends of the plurality of screw shafts;

a pair of robot arms having first and second ends, the first ends being supported by corresponding screw shafts, the pair of robot arms being extended from the screw shafts and moveable in an upward direction and a downward direction; and

a plurality of clamping units connected to the second ends of the robot arms.

19. The apparatus of claim 18 , further comprising a vertical driving unit connected to the horizontal driving unit with a rod for driving the horizontal driving unit in a vertical direction to move the robot arm.

20. The apparatus of claim 18 , further comprising stoppers at ends of the plurality of screw shafts.

21. The apparatus of claim 18 , wherein the robot arms are driven by the revolution of the motor.

22. The apparatus of claim 18 , wherein the plurality of clamping units include at least two clamps separated from each other at a predetermined distance along a length of the pair of robot arms.

23. The apparatus of claim 18 , wherein the stoppers couple the screw shafts with each other.
