Abstract
Preparation of a lipophilic platinum complex being dissolved or suspended in an iodized poppyseed oil fatty acid ethyl ester is useful as an agent for treatment of cisplatin-resistant cancers.
Claims (2)
1. A method for promoting the uptake of a platinum complex into cisplatin-resistant hepatic cancer cells, which comprises administering a solution or suspension of cis-[((1R,2R)-1,2-cyclohexane-diamine-N,N′)bis(myristato)] platinum (II) of the formula:
in an iodized poppyseed oil fatty acid ethyl ester to the hepatic artery of a subject having a cisplatin-resistant hepatic cancer.
