Regulation of human adenylate cyclase
View Patent ↗Reagents which regulate human adenylate cyclase and reagents which bind to human adenylate cyclase gene products can play a role in preventing, ameliorating, or correcting dysfunctions or diseases including, but not limited to, peripheral and central nervous system disorders, disorders of the genito-urinary system including but not limited to benign prostatic hyperplasia and urinary incontinence, obesity, COPD and diabetes.
1. An isolated and purified protein comprising a first polypeptide segment comprising the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO:6.
2. The protein of claim 1 further comprising a second polypeptide segment comprising an amino acid sequence which is not the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:6, wherein the second polypeptide segment is joined to the first polypeptide segment by means of a peptide bond.
3. A pharmaceutical composition comprising:
a protein comprising the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO:6; and
a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
