Abstract

Compounds and compositions for the delivery of bisphosphonates are provided. Methods of preparation, administration and treatment are provided as well.

Claims (84)

1. A composition comprising:

(A) alendronate; and

(B) at least one compound selected from

and salts thereof.

2. The composition of claim 1 wherein (B) is

Compound 1 or a salt thereof.

3. The composition of claim 2 wherein (B) is the sodium salt of compound 1.

4. The composition of claim 1 wherein (B) is

Compound 2 or a salt thereof.

5. The composition of claim 1 wherein (B) is

Compound 3 or a salt thereof.

6. The composition of claim 1 wherein (B) is

Compound 4 or a salt thereof.

7. The composition of claim 1 wherein (B) is

Compound 5 or a salt thereof.

8. The composition of claim 1 wherein (B) is

Compound 6 or a salt thereof.

9. The composition of claim 1 wherein (B) is

Compound 7 or a salt thereof.

10. The composition of claim 1 wherein (B) is

(A) ibandronate; and

(B) at least one compound selected from

13. The composition of claim 12 wherein (B) is the sodium salt of compound 1.

14. The composition of claim 11 wherein (B) is

Compound 2 or a salt thereof.

Compound 3 or a salt thereof.

16. The composition of claim 11 wherein (B) is

Compound 4 or a salt thereof.
