1. Packing and vacuum tube set for use with a vacuum bandage coupled to a vacuum source, the vacuum bandage including a wound dressing member having a wound contacting surface and a cover, the packing and vacuum tube set comprising:

a vacuum tube configured to be coupled to the vacuum bandage and the vacuum source, and

a pack including (i) a top surface, (ii) a bottom surface configured to be removably engaged with the wound dressing member, (iii) a side wall, (iv) an aperture extending from the top surface to the bottom surface, and (v) a slit in communication with the aperture and extending from the top surface to the bottom surface and from the aperture to the sidewall,

wherein the pack is configured to be positioned between a portion of the cover and a portion of the wound dressing member,

wherein the aperture of the pack receives the vacuum tube,

wherein the pack comprises open-cell hydrophilic foam, wherein the foam comprises polyurethane, wherein the foam is perforated, and

wherein the pack further comprises an adhesive layer coupled to its bottom surface, the adhesive layer configured to releasably secure the pack to the wound dressing member.

2. Packing and vacuum tube set for use with a vacuum bandage coupled to a vacuum source, the vacuum bandage including a wound dressing member having a wound contacting surface and a cover, the packing and vacuum tube set comprising:

a vacuum tube configured to be coupled to the vacuum bandage and the vacuum source, and

a pack including (i) a top surface, (ii) a bottom surface configured to be removably engaged with the wound dressing member, (iii) a side wall, (iv) an aperture extending from the top surface to the bottom surface, and (v) a slit in communication with the aperture and extending from the top surface to the bottom surface and from the aperture to the sidewall,

wherein the pack is configured to be positioned between a portion of the cover and a portion of the wound dressing member,

wherein the aperture of the pack receives the vacuum tube,

wherein the pack comprises open-cell hydrophilic foam, and

wherein the foam comprises polyurethane, and

wherein the pack further comprises an adhesive layer coupled to the bottom surface, the adhesive layer configured to releasably secure the pack to the wound dressing member.

3. The packing of claim 2 , wherein the slit is configured to permit at least a portion of the tube to be positioned in a portion of the slit.

4. Packing and vacuum tube set for use with a vacuum bandage coupled to a vacuum source, the vacuum bandage including a wound dressing member having a wound contacting surface and a cover, the packing and vacuum tube set comprising:

a vacuum tube configured to be coupled to the vacuum bandage and the vacuum source, and

a pack including (i) a top surface, (ii) a bottom surface configured to be removably engaged with the wound dressing member, (iii) a side wall, (iv) an aperture extending from the top surface to the bottom surface, and (v) a slit in communication with the aperture and extending from the top surface to the bottom surface and from the aperture to the sidewall,

wherein the pack is configured to be positioned between a portion of the cover and a portion of the wound dressing member.

wherein the aperture of the pack receives the vacuum tube,

wherein the pack comprises closed-cell foam,

wherein the foam comprises polyurethane, and

wherein the pack further comprises an adhesive layer coupled to its bottom surface, the adhesive layer configured to releasably secure the pack to the wound dressing member.
