Abstract

The present invention has for an object agents for the simultaneous brightening and dyeing of keratin fibers—particularly hair—characterized in that they contain a) at least one oxidant and (b) at least one indolylthiazoliumazo dye of formula (I) and that, (c) they have a basic pH

Claims (18)

1. Agent for the simultaneous brightening and dyeing of keratin fibers, characterized in that it contains a) at least one oxidant and b) at least one indolylthiazoliumazo dye of formula (I) and that c) it has a basic pH

wherein

R 1 stands for a saturated or unsaturated (C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a halogen atom-substituted (C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a hydroxy-(C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a (C 1 -C 6 )-alkoxy-(C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, an amino-(C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a (C 1 -C 6 )-alkylamino-(C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a di(C 1 -C 6 )-alkyl-amino-(C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a cyano-(C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted benzyl group;

R 2 and R 3 can be equal or different and independently of each other stand for hydrogen, a halogen atom, a saturated or unsaturated (C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a (C 1 -C 12 )-alkoxy group, a nitro group, an amino group, a (C 1 -C 12 )-alkylamino group, a di(C 1 -C 12 )-alkylamino group, a (C 1 -C 12 )-hydroxyalkylamino group, a di(C 1 -C 12 )-hydroxyalkylamino group, a sub-stituted or unsubstituted phenyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group;

R 4 stands for a saturated or unsaturated (C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a halogen atom-substituted (C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a hydroxy-(C 1 -C 12 )-group, a (C 1 -C 6 )-alkoxy-(C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, an amino-(C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a (C 1 -C 6 )-alkylamino-(C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a di(C 1 -C 6 )-alkyl-amino-(C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a cyano-(C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted benzyl group or a substituted or unsub-stituted heteroaryl group;

R 5 stands for hydrogen, a saturated (C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group or a C(O)O-(C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group;

R 6 , R 7 , R 8 and R 9 can be equal or different and independently of each other stand for hydrogen, a halogen atom, a saturated or unsaturated (C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group, a hydroxyl group, a (C 1 -C 12 )-alkoxy group, a nitro group, an amino group, a (C 1 -C 12 )-alkylamino group or a di(C 1 -C 12 )-alkylamino group; and

A − stands for an anion of an organic or inorganic acid.

2. Agent as defined in claim 1 , characterized in that R 1 stands for a saturated or un-saturated (C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group and R 4 stands for a saturated or unsaturated (C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group.

3. Agent as defined in claim 2 , characterized in that R 1 stands for a saturated (C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group and R 4 stands for a saturated (C 1 -C 12 )-alkyl group or a phenyl group.

Agent as defined in claim 1 , characterized in that A − stands for a chloride, bromide, iodide, hydrogen sulfate, sulfate, toluenesulfonate, benzenesulfonate, mo-nomethylsulfate, hexafluorophosphate, hexafluoroantimonate, tetrafluoroborate, tetraphe-nylborate, formate, acetate or propionate anion.

Agent as defined in claim 1 , characterized in that the compound of formula (I) is selected from among 3-methyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 3-methyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 3-methyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate, 3,4-dimethyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 3,4-dimethyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 3,4-dimethyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-in-dol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate, 3,5-dimethyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 3,5-dimethyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazo-lium bromide, 3,5-dimethyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monome-thylsulfate, 3,4,5-trimethyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 3,4,5-trimethyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 3,4,5-trimethyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate, 5-bromo-3-methyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 5-bromo-3-methyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 5-bromo-3-methyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate, 5-methoxy-3-methyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 5-methoxy-3-methyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 5-methoxy-3-methyl-2-[(1-methyl-2-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate, 3-methyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)-azo]thiazolium chloride, 3-methyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 3-methyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate, 3,4-dimethyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 3,4-dimethyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-in-dol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 3,4-dimethyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazoli-lium monomethylsulfate, 3,5-dimethyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chlo-ride, 3,5-dimethyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazoliumbromide, 3,5-dimethyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate, 3,4,5-trimethyl-2-[(1,2-di-methyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 3,4,5-trimethyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 3,4,5-trimethyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate, 5-bromo-3-methyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chlo-ride, 5-bromo-3-methyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 5-bromo-3-methyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate, 5-methoxy-3-me-thyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 5-methoxy-3-methyl-2-[(1,2-di-methyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 5-methoxy-3-methyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-in-dol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate, 3-methyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]-5-nitrothiazolium chloride, 3-methyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]-5-nitrothiazolium bro-mide, 3-methyl-2-[(1,2-dimethyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]-5-nitrothiazolium monomethylsulfate, 3-methyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 3-methyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 3-methyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)-azo]thiazo-lium monomethylsulfate, 3,4-dimethyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chlo-ride, 3,4-dimethyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 3,4-dimethyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate, 3,5-dimethyl-2-[(1,2-diphe-nyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 3,5-dimethyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]-thiazolium bromide, 3,5-dimethyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monome-thylsulfate, 3,4,5-trimethyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 3,4,5-trimethyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 3,4,5-trimethyl-2-[(1,2-di-phenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate, 5-bromo-3-methyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 5-bromo-3-methyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide, 5-bromo-3-methyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)-azo]thiazoli-um monomethylsulfate, 5-methoxy-3-methyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium chloride, 5-methoxy-3-methyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium bromide and 5-methoxy-3-methyl-2-[(1,2-diphenyl-1H-indol-3-yl)azo]thiazolium monomethylsulfate.

6. Agent as defined in claim 1 , characterized in that it contains the compound of formula (I) in an amount from 0.01 to 10 weight percent.

7. Agent as defined in claim 1 , characterized in that it additionally contains at least one other oxidation-resistant direct dye and/or oxidative dye precursor.

8. Agent as defined in claim 1 , characterized in that the ready-to-use colorant has a pH of 8 to 11.

9. Agent as defined in claim 1 , characterized in that the oxidant is selected from among hydrogen peroxide and the compounds of addition thereof to urea, melamine, sodium borate or sodium carbonate.

10. Agent as defined in claim 1 , characterized in that it is in the form of a 2-component agent consisting of a dye carrier composition (A) containing at least one indolylthiazoliumazo dye of formula (I) and a component (B) containing an oxidant.

11. Agent as defined in claim 1 , characterized in that it is a hair colorant.
