Holder for a sheet dispenser package
View Patent ↗A combination includes a dispenser package having a sheet of material with an opening for dispensing at least one item therefrom and a cap assembly attached to the sheet of material and surrounding the opening, the cap assembly including a flange. The combination also includes a holder including a front wall having an interior face, an exterior face and an aperture extending between the interior and exterior faces. The dispenser package is insertable into the holder so that a portion of the cap assembly passes through the aperture of the front wall with the sheet of material opposing the interior face of the holder and the flange opposing the exterior face of the holder, wherein the flange includes a portion that extends beyond the aperture of the front wall for preventing the flange from passing through the aperture when the dispenser package is inserted into the holder.
1. A combination comprising:
a dispenser package including a sheet of material having an opening for dispensing at least one item therefrom and a cap assembly attached to said sheet of material and surrounding said opening, said cap assembly including a flange;
a holder including a front wall having an interior face, an exterior face and an aperture extending between said interior and exterior faces, said dispenser package being insertable into said holder so that a portion of said cap assembly passes through the aperture of said front wall with the sheet of material opposing the interior face of said holder and said flange opposing the exterior face of said holder, wherein said flange includes a portion that extends beyond the aperture of said front wall for preventing said flange from passing through said aperture when said dispenser package is inserted into said holder, wherein the at least one item dispensable from said dispenser package is selected from the group consisting of sheets, napkins, tissues, wipes and towelettes.
2. The combination as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said holder further comprises a rear wall opposing said front wall and defining an internal chamber between said front wall and said rear wall, and wherein said internal chamber is adapted to receive said dispenser package.
3. The combination as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said rear wall has a flap extending from an upper end thereof that is securable with said front wall, said flap overlying said internal chamber when said flap is in the closed position.
4. The combination as claimed in claim 2 , further comprising side walls spaced from one another and extending between the front and rear walls of said holder.
5. The combination as claimed in claim 4 , further comprising a securing element extending between said sidewalls.
6. The combination as claimed in claim 5 , wherein said securing element has a first end attached to a first sidewall and a second end attached to a second sidewall.
7. The combination as claimed in claim 5 , wherein said securing element is an elastic securing strap adapted for urging said sidewalls toward one another.
8. The combination as claimed in claim 4 , wherein said sidewalls are flexible for enabling said front and rear walls to move relative to one another.
9. The combination as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said front and rear walls are integrally connected with one another at lower ends thereof.
10. The combination as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said front and rear walls are made of a flexible material.
11. The combination as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said front and rear walls of said holder are made of a material selected from the group consisting of leather, vinyl, cloth and plastic.
12. The combination as claimed in claim 2 , further comprising at least two elastic holding straps spaced from one another and attached to the rear wall of said holder.
13. The combination as claimed in claim 12 , wherein each said elastic holding strap has a first section attached to an upper end of said rear wall and a second section attached to a lower end of said rear wall, said first and second sections being releasably secured to one another by a fastener.
14. The combination as claimed in claim 13 , wherein said fastener is a loop and hook fastener.
15. The combination as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said cap assembly is attached to an exterior surface of the sheet of material of said dispenser package.
16. The combination as claimed in claim 15 , wherein said cap assembly includes a base attached to the exterior surface of the sheet of material of said dispenser package, said flange extending outwardly from said base, and a cap hingedly connected to said flange and movable between open and closed positions.
17. The combination as claimed in claim 16 , wherein the base of said cap assembly has an outer perimeter defining a width thereof that is less than a width of said aperture so that the base of said cap assembly is passable through said aperture.
18. The combination as claimed in claim 16 , wherein said flange is integrally connected with said base of said cap assembly.
19. The combination as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said flange has a width that is greater than a width of said aperture.
20. The combination as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said sheet of material is flexible.
21. The combination as claimed in claim 20 , wherein said sheet of material is selected from the group consisting of vinyl film, foil or any other flexible material that can be permanently sealed to provide a hermetically sealed container.
22. The combination as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said dispenser package is collapsible.
23. The combination as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said aperture extends to an upper end of said front wall for defining a gap that divides said front wall into a left section and a right section.
24. The combination as claimed in claim 23 , further comprising a front securing element extending between the left section of said front wall and the right section of said front wall.
25. The combination as claimed in claim 24 , wherein said front securing element has a first end connected with the left section of said front wall and a second end connected with the right section of said front wall.
26. The combination as claimed in claim 25 , wherein said front securing element is an elastic securing strap for urging said left and right sections of said front wall toward one another.
27. A combination comprising:
a holder including a front wall having an aperture and a rear wall opposing said front wall, said front and rear walls defining an internal chamber;
a dispenser package including a sheet of material having an opening for dispensing at least one item from said dispenser package, wherein said dispenser package includes a cap assembly attached to said sheet of material and surrounding said opening, said cap assembly including a flange, wherein said dispenser package is insertable into the internal chamber of said holder so that the opening in the sheet of material is in substantial alignment with the aperture of the front wall, and wherein the front wall of said holder has an interior face, an exterior face and the aperture extending between said interior and exterior faces, said dispenser package being insertable into said holder so that a portion of said cap assembly passes through the aperture of said front wall with the sheet of material opposing the interior face of said holder and said flange opposing the exterior face of said holder, wherein said flange includes a portion that extends beyond the aperture of said front wall for preventing said flange from passing through said aperture when said dispenser is inserted into said holder;
at least two elastic straps attached to the rear wall of said holder, each said elastic strap having a first section attached to an upper end of said rear wall and a second section attached to a lower end of said rear wall, said first and second sections being releasably secured to one another by a fastener.
28. The combination as claimed in claim 27 , wherein the fastener is a hook and loop fastener.
29. A combination comprising:
a dispenser package including a sheet of material having an opening for dispensing at least one item therefrom and a cap assembly attached to said sheet of material and surrounding said opening, said cap assembly including a flange, wherein the at least one item dispensible from said dispenser package is selected from the group consisting of sheets, napkins, tissues, wipes and towelettes;
a holder for said dispenser package including a front wall having an interior face, an exterior face and an aperture extending between said interior and exterior faces, said dispenser package being insertable into said holder so that the sheet of material opposes the interior face of said holder and said flange opposes the exterior face of said holder, wherein said flange includes a portion that extends beyond the aperture of said front wall for preventing said flange from passing through said aperture when said dispenser package is inserted into said holder.
30. The combination as claimed in claim 29 , wherein said holder further comprises a rear wall opposing said front wall, said front and rear walls defining an internal chamber adapted to receive said dispenser package.
31. The combination as claimed in claim 30 , wherein said rear wall has a flap extending from an upper end thereof that is securable with said front wall, said flap overlying said internal chamber when said flap is in the closed position.
32. The combination as claimed in claim 30 , further comprising opposing side walls spaced from one another and extending between said front and rear walls of said holder.
33. The combination as claimed in claim 30 , further comprising at least two elastic straps spaced from one another and attached to the rear wall of said holder.
34. The combination as claimed in claim 33 , wherein each said elastic strap has a first section attached to an upper end of said rear wall and a second section attached to a lower end of said rear wall, said first and second sections having loose ends being releasably secured to one another by a fastener.
