Abstract

An illuminated electric part includes a manipulating shaft which is rotatable and is stable at least at two points. The manipulating shaft is light-transmissive and includes a pictograph portion which is illuminated at a top portion thereof. The illuminated electric part includes a light emitting element which is arranged at a side of the manipulating shaft. The manipulating shaft includes side faces which constitute light incident faces in directions orthogonal to an optical path from the light emitting element at respective stable points and, at the same time, includes a conical light reflecting face having a downwardly extending top at a side opposite to the incident faces.

Claims (7)

1. An illuminated electric part comprising:

a manipulating shaft which is rotatable and is stable at least at two points, the manipulating shaft being light-transmissive and having a display to be illuminated at a top portion thereof; and

a light source arranged at a side of the manipulating shaft, wherein

the manipulating shaft has light incident faces comprising planes extending in directions orthogonal to an optical path from the light source at the respective stable points, and wherein a coned light reflecting face having a top thereof which extends downwardly at a side thereof opposite to the incident faces.

2. The illuminated electric part according to claim 1 , wherein the light reflecting face has a conical shape.

3. The illuminated electric part according to claim 1 , wherein the manipulating shaft is tiltably supported.

4. The illuminated electric part according to claim 2 , wherein an axis of the light reflecting face is positioned on the center of rotation of the manipulating shaft.
