Optimized multi-epitope constructs and uses thereof
The invention relates to the field of biology. In particular, it relates to multi-epitope nucleic acid and peptide vaccines and methods of designing such vaccines to provide increased immunogenicity.
1. l A polynucleotide comprising a nucleic acid sequence selected from the group consisting of: nucleotides +1 to 1248 of SEQ ID NO: 71, nucleotides +1 to 2292 of SEQ ID NO: 205, and nucleotides +1 to 2232 of SEQ ID NO: 207.
2. A composition comprising the polynucleotide of claim 1 .
3. An isolated cell comprising the polynucleotide of claim 1 .
4. A method of inducing an immune response against hepatitis B virus (HBV) in an individual in need thereof, comprising administering the polynucleotide of claim 1 , the composition of claim 2 , or the cell of claim 3 to said individual.
