Abstract

This invention relates to aryl carbonyl derivatives which are activators of glucokinase which may be useful for the management, treatment, control, or adjunct treatment of diseases, where increasing glucokinase activity is beneficial.

Claims (147)

1. A compound of formula (Ib)

wherein

R 24 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, —C(O)OR 2 , —CN, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , —NO 2 , —OR 2 , —NR 2 R 3 , C 1-6 -alkyl-Z-, cycloalkyl-Z-, heterocyclyl-Z-, aryl-Z-, or heteroaryl-Z-, N(R 4 R 5 )—C 1-6 -alkylene-Z-, R 6 —W 1 -Z-, R 6 —W 1 —N(R 4 )-Z-, R 6 —N(R 4 )-Z, and R 6 —W 1 —C 1-6 -alkylene-Z-;

R 2 and R 3 independently of each other are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C 1-6 -alkyl, aryl-C 1-6 -alkylene-, heteroaryl-C 1-6 -alkylene-, C 1-6 -alkyl-arylene-, C 1-6 -alkyl-heteroarylene-, heteroaryl, or aryl;

Z is a direct bond, —O—, —NH—, —NHCH 2 —, —S—, —SO 2 —, —C(O)NH—, —NHC(O)—, —N(H)CON(H)—, —N(CH 3 )CONH—, —N(H)SO 2 —, —SO 2 N(H)—, —C(O)—O—, —N(H)SO 2 N(H)—, or —O—C(O)—;

R 4 , R 5 , and R 6 independently of each other are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, aryl, C 1-6 -alkyl, heteroaryl-C 1-6 -alkylene-, and aryl-C 1-6 -alkylene-;

W 1 is a direct bond, —O—, —C(O)—, —NH—, —S—, —SO 2 —, —C(O)NH—, —NHC(O)—, —N(H)CON(H)—, —N(H)SO 2 —, —SO 2 N(H)—, —C(O)—O—, —N(H)SO 2 N(H)—, or —O—C(O)—;

L 1 is -D-alkylene-E-, —O—, —S—, —S(O)—, —S(O) 2 —, —C(O)—, —N(R 11 )—, or —C(═N—OR 12 );

D is a direct bond or —O— and E is a direct bond or —O—;

R 11 is hydrogen or C 1-6 -alkyl;

R 12 is hydrogen or C 1-6 -alkyl;

G 1 is C 1-6 -alkyl, C 2-6 -alkenyl, C 2-6 -alkynyl, C 3-10 -cycloalkyl or C 3-10 -heterocyclyl, optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of —CN, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , —OR 18 , —NR 18 R 19 , C 3-10 -cycloalkyl and C 1-6 -alkyl;

R 18 and R 19 , independently of each other, are hydrogen or C 1-6 -alkyl;

L 2 is a direct bond, —N—(R 20 )—, -alkylene-N(R 20 )—, -alkenylene-N(R 20 )—, or -alkynylene-N(R 20 )—;

R 20 is hydrogen;

L 3 is —C(O)—, —C(O)—C(O)— or —C(O)CH 2 C(O)—;

R 1 is hydrogen, C 1-6 -alkyl, C 2-6 -alkenyl, C 2-6 -alkynyl, optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of R 33 , R 34 , and R 35 ;

R 33 , R 34 , and R 35 independently of each other are selected from the group consisting of —CHF 2 , —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , —OCHF 2 , —OCH 2 CF 3 , —OCF 2 CHF 2 , —S(O) 2 CF 3 , —SCF 3 , —OR 52 , —NR 52 R 53 , —SR 52 , —NR 52 S(O) 2 R 53 , —S(O) 2 NR 52 R 53 , —S(O)NR 52 R 53 , —S(O)R 52 , —S(O) 2 R 52 , —C(O)NR 52 R 53 , —OC(O)NR 52 R 53 , —NR 52 C(O)R 53 , —CH 2 C(O)NR 52 R 53 , —OCH 2 C(O)NR 52 R 53 , —CH 2 OR 52 , —CH 2 NR 52 R 53 , —OC(O)R 52 , —C(O)R 52 and —C(O)OR 52 ;

R 52 and R 53 independently of each other are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C 1-6 -alkyl, aryl-C 1-6 -alkylene, heteroaryl-C 1-6 -alkylene, heteroaryl, and aryl; and

R 52 and R 53 , when attached to the same nitrogen atom, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, may form a 3— to 8—membered heterocyclic ring optionally containing one or two further heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur, and optionally containing one or two double bonds;

R 43 is selected from the group consisting of

—SR 54 , —S(O) 2 R 54 , halogen, —C 1-6 -alkylene-C(O)OR 54 , —C(O)OR 54 ,

heterocyclyl and heterocyclyl-C 1-6 -alkylene-, of which the heterocyclyl moieties may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 70 ; and

heteroaryl or heteroaryl-C 1-6 -alkylene-, of which the heteroaryl moieties optionally may be substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of halogen, —C(O)OR 54 , —CN, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , —NO 2 , —OR 54 , —NR 54 R 55 and C 1-6 -alkyl;

R 70 is ═O, —C(O)CH 3 , —S(O) 2 CH 3 , —CF 3 , —C(O)O—R 75 , —(CH 2 ) 1-3 C(O)O—R 75 or C 1-6 -alkyl;

R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are hydrogen, C 1-6 -alkyl, aryl-C 1-6 -alkylene-, heteroaryl-C 1-6 -alkylene, heterocyclyl, heterocyclyl-C 1-6 -alkylene, heteroaryl, or aryl, each of which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 ; or

R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are hydrogen or —(CHAR 72 ) u —(CHAR 73 ) v —W 6 , wherein

u is 0, 1 or 2;

v is 0, 1 or 2;

R 72 and R 73 independently of each other are hydrogen, C 1-6 -alkyl, C 1-6 -alkyl-arylene- aryl, hydroxy, hydroxyalkyl, —C(O)O—R 75 , amino, or aminoalkyl;

W 6 is hydrogen, —O—R 75 , —C(O)O—R 75 , —C(O)—R 75 , —CONR 75 R 76 , —NR 75 R 76 , —NHCH 2 C(O)R 75 , —NHC(O)R 75 , —NHC(O)OR 75 , —S(O) 2 R 75 , —NHS(O) 2 R 75 , alkylamino, or dialkylamino, or

W 6 is a five or six membered ring wherein at least one ring atom is nitrogen and the remaining ring atoms are either carbon or oxygen or optionally substituted with C 1-6 -alkyl, —C(O)O—R 75 , —(CH 2 ) 1-3 C(O)O—R 75 , ═O; or

W 6 is phathalimido or heterocyclyl, or

R 54 and R 55 , when attached to the same nitrogen atom, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, may form a 3 to 8 membered hecerocyclic ring optionally containing one or two further heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur, and optionally containing one or two double bonds, and optionally substituted with one or more C 1-6 -alkyl groups;

R 71 is ═O, C 1-6 -alkyl, cycloalkyl, —C(O)O—R 75 , —(CH 2 ) 1-3 C(O)O—R 75 , —(CH 2 ) 1-3 NR 75 R 76 , —OH or amino;

R 75 and R 76 independently of each other is hydrogen, halogen, —OH, —CF 3 , or C 1-6 -alkyl optionally substituted with —NH 2 ;

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, or prodrug thereof.

The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 24 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, —CN, —CF 3 , —OR 2 , —NR 2 R 3 , C 1-6 -alkyl-Z-, cycloalkyl-Z-, heterocyclyl-Z-, aryl-Z-, heteroaryl-Z-, R 6 —W 1 -Z-, R 6 —W 1 —N(R 4 )-Z-, R 6 —N(R 4 )-Z, and R 6 —W 1 —C 1-6 -alkylene-Z-.

3. The compound according to claim 2 , wherein R 24 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, —OR 2 , —NR 2 R 3 , C 1-6 -alkyl-Z-, R 6 —W 1 -Z-, and R 6 —W 1 —C 1-6 -alkylene-Z-.

4. The compound according to claim 3 , wherein R 24 is selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, Br, and —CH 3 .

5. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 2 and R 3 independently of each other, are hydrogen, C 1-6 -alkyl, aryl-C 1-6 -alkylene- or aryl.

6. The compound according to claim 5 , wherein R 2 is hydrogen or C 1-6 -alkyl.

7. The compound according to claim 6 , wherein R 2 is hydrogen.

8. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 3 is hydrogen or C 1-6 -alkyl.

9. The compound according to claim 8 , wherein R 3 is hydrogen.

10. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein Z is a direct bond, —O—, —S—, —SO 2 —, —C(O)NH—, —NHC(O)—, —N(H)SO 2 —, —C(O)—O—, —N(H)SO 2 N(H)—, or —O—C(O)—.

11. The compound according to claim 10 , wherein Z is a direct bond, —NHC(O)—, or —NHS(O) 2 —.

12. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 4 , R 5 , and R 6 independently of each other are hydrogen or C 1-6 -alkyl.

13. The compound according to claim 12 , wherein R 4 , R 3 , and R 6 are hydrogen.

14. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein W 1 is a direct bond, —O—, —C(O)—, —SO 2 —, —C(O)NH—, —NHC(O)—, —N(H)SO 2 —, —C(O)—O—, or —O—C(O)—.

15. The compound according to claim 14 , wherein W 1 is a direct bond or —C(O)—O—.

16. The compound according to claim 15 , wherein W 1 is a direct bond.

17. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein L 1 is -D-C 1-6 -alkylene-E-, —O—, —C(O)—, —N(R 11 )—, or —C(═N—OR 12 )—.

18. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein L 1 is —O—.

19. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein L 1 is —S—.

20. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein L 1 is —C(O)—.

21. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein D is a direct bond.

22. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein D is —O—.

23. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein E is a direct bond.

24. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein E is —O—.

25. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 11 is hydrogen.

26. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 12 is hydrogen.

27. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein G 1 is C 1-6 -alkyl, C 2-4 -alkenyl, C 2-6 , alkynyl, C 3-10 -cycloalkyl or C 3-10 -heterocyclyl, optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of —CN, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , —OR 18 , —NR 18 R 19 , and C 1-6 -alkyl.

28. The compound according to claim 27 , wherein G 1 is selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, isopropyl, isobutyl, sec-butyl, tert-bully, 3-pentyl, 2-pentyl, 3-methyl-butyl, 2-propenyl, cyclopropyl, cyclobutyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl, cycloheptyl, oxetanyl, tetrahydrofuranyl, tetrahydropyranyl, azetidyl, pyrrolidyl, piperidyl, hexahydroazepinyl, thiolanyl, tetrahydrothiopyranyl, thiepanyl, 1,4-oxathianyl, 1,3-dioxolanyl, 1,2-dithiolanyl, 1,3-dithiolanyl, hexahydropyridazinyl, imidazolidyl, 1,3-dioxanyl, morpholinyl, 1,3-dithianyl, 1,4-dioxanyl, 1,4-dithianyl, and thiomorpholinyl.

29. The compound according to claim 28 , wherein G 1 is selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, isopropyl, isobutyl, sec-butyl, tert-butyl, cyclopropyl, cyclobutyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl, cycloheptyl, tetrahydrofuranyl, tetrahydropyranyl, pyrrolidyl, piperidyl, hexahydroazepinyl, thiolanyl, tetrahydrothiopyranyl, and thiepanyl.

30. The compound according to claim 29 , wherein G 1 is selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, isopropyl, isobutyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl, tetrahydrofuranyl, tetrahydropyranyl, piperidyl, and hexahydroazepinyl.

31. The compound according to claim 30 , wherein G 1 is selected from the group consisting of isobutyl, cyclopentyl, and piperidyl.

32. The compound according to claim 30 , wherein G 1 is isobutyl.

33. The compound according to claim 30 , wherein G 1 is cyclopentyl.

34. The compound according to claim 30 , wherein G 1 is piperidyl.

35. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 18 is hydrogen.

36. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 19 is hydrogen.

37. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein L 2 is —N—(R 20 )—, —C 1-6 -alkylene-N(R 20 )—, —C 2-6 -alkenylene-N(R 20 )—, or —C 1-6 -alkynylene-N(R 20 )—.

38. The compound according to claim 37 , wherein L 2 is —N—(R 20 )—.

39. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein L 2 is a direct bond.

40. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein L 3 is —C(O)—.

41. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein L 3 is —C(O)—C(O)—.

42. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein L 3 is —C(O)CH 2 C(O)—.

43. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 1 is hydrogen or C 1-6 -alkyl optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of R 33 , R 34 , and R 35 .

44. The compound according to claim 43 , wherein R 52 and R 53 , when attached to the seine nitrogen atom, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached may form a 3 to 8 membered heterocyclic ring optionally containing one or two further heteroatoms selected from nitrogen, oxygen and sulphur, and optionally containing one or two double bonds.

45. The compound according to claim 43 , wherein R 52 and R 53 independently of each other are hydrogen, C 1-6 -alkyl, aryl-C 1-6 -alkylene-heteroaryl-C 1-6 -alkylene-heteroaryl, or aryl.

46. The compound according to claim 45 , wherein R 52 and R 53 independently of each other are hydrogen, C 1-6 -alkyl, aryl-C 1-6 -alkylene- or aryl.

47. The compound according to claim 46 , wherein R 52 and R 53 independently of each other are hydrogen or C 1-6 -alkyl.

48. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 52 is hydrogen.

49. The compound according to claim 48 , wherein R 52 is hydrogen and R 53 is hydrogen.

50. The compound according to claim 48 , wherein R 53 is hydrogen.

51. The compound according to claim 43 , wherein R 1 is hydrogen.

52. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 43 is selected from the group consisting of —SR 54 , —S(O) 2 R 54 , halogen, —C 1-6 -alkylene-C(O)OR 54 , and —C(O)OR 54 ; or heterocyclyl-C 1-6 -alkylene-, wherein heterocyclyl is selected from the group consisting of imidazolyl, piperidyl, piperazinyl, and morpholinyl, and of which the heterocyclyl moieties optionally may be substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 70 ; or heteroaryl or heteroaryl-C 1-6 -alkylene-, wherein heteroaryl is selected from the group consisting of thiazolyl, triazolyl, and tetrazolyl, and of which the heteroaryl moieties optionally may be substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of halogen, —C(O)OR 54 , —CN, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , —NO 2 , —OR 54 , —NR 54 R 55 and C 1-6 -alkyl.

53. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 43 is heteroaryl or heteroaryl-C 1-6 -alkylene-optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of halogen, —C(O)OR 54 , —CN, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , —NO 2 , —OR 54 , —NR 54 R 55 and C 1-6 -alkyl.

54. The compound according to claim 53 , wherein R 43 is heteroaryl optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of halogen, —C(O)OR 54 , —CN, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , —NO 2 , —OR 54 , —NR 54 R 55 and C 1-6 -alkyl.

55. The compound according to claim 53 , wherein R 43 is heteroaryl-C 1-6 -alkylene-optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of halogen, —C(O)OR 54 , —CN, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , —NO 2 , —OR 54 , —NR 54 R 55 or C 1-6 -alkyl.

56. The compound according to claim 52 , wherein R 43 is —C 1-6 -alkylene-C(O)OR 54 .

57. The compound according to claim 56 , wherein R 43 is —CH 2 —C(O)OR 54 .

58. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 70 is ═O, methyl or C(O)OR 75.

59. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 70 is —C(O)OH.

60. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 70 is —(CH 2 ) 1-3 C(O)OH.

61. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are hydrogen, C 1-6 -alkyl, heterocyclyl, heterocyclyl-C 1-6 -alkylene-, heteroaryl, or aryl, each of which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 , or

R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are hydrogen or —(CHAR 72 ) u —(CHR 73 ) v —W 6 .

62. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, isopropyl, isobutyl, sec-butyl, tert-butyl, 3-pentyl, 2-pentyl, or 3-methyl-butyl.

63. The compound according to claim 62 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, isopropyl, isobutyl, sec-butyl, or tert-butyl.

64. The compound according to claim 63 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are hydrogen, methyl or ethyl.

65. The compound according to claim 64 , wherein R 54 is hydrogen.

66. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are oxetanyl, tetrahydrofuranyl tetrahydropyranyl, oxepanyl, azetidyl, pyrrolidyl, piperidyl, hexahydroazepinyl, thietanyl, thiolanyl, tetrahydrothiopyranyl, thiepanyl, 1,4-oxathianyl, 1,3-dioxolanyl, 1,2-dithiolanyl, 1,3-dithiolanyl, hexahydro-pyridazinyl, imidazolidyl, 1,3-dioxanyl, morpholinyl, 1,3-dithianyl, 1,4-dioxanyl, 1,4-dithianyl, or thiomorpholinyl, each of which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

The compound according to claim 66 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are tetrahydropyranyl, oxepanyl, piperidyl, hexahydroazepinyl, tetrahydrothiopyranyl, thiepanyl, 1,4-oxathianyl, 1,3-dithiolanyl, hexahydro-pyridazinyl, 1,3-dioxanyl, morpholinyl, 1,3-dithianyl, 1,4-dioxanyl, 1.4-dithianyl, or thiomorpholinyl, each of which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

The compound according to claim 67 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are tetrahydropyranyl, piperidyl, tetrahydrothiopyranyl, 1,4-oxathianyl, hexahydro-pyridazinyl, morpholinyl, 1,4-dioxanyl, 1,4-dithianyl, or thiomorpholinyl, each of which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

69. The compound according to claim 68 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are tetrahydropyranyl, piperidyl, tetrahydrothiopyranyl or morpholinyl, each of which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

70. The compound according to claim 69 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are piperidyl or morpholinyl, each of which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

71. The compound according to claim 70 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are piperidyl or morpholinyl.

72. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are furanyl, thienyl, thiophenyl, pyrrolyl, imidazolyl, pyrazolyl, triazolyl, tetrazolyl, thiazolyl, oxazolyl, isoxazolyl, oxadiazolyl, thiadiazolyl, isothiazolyl, pyridinyl, pyridazinyl, pyrazinyl, pyrimidinyl, quinolinyl, isoquinolinyl, benzofuranyl, benzothiophenyl, indolyl, purinyl, or indazolyl, each of which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

The compound according to claim 72 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are furanyl, thienyl, thiophenyl, pyrrolyl, imidazolyl, pyrazolyl, triazolyl, tetrazolyl, thiazolyl, oxazolyl, isoxazolyl, oxadiazolyl, thiadiazolyl, isothiazolyl, pyridinyl, pyridazinyl, pyrazinyl, pyrimidinyl, benzofuranyl, indolyl, or purinyl, each of which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

The compound according to claim 73 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are imidazolyl, triazolyl, tetrazolyl, thiazolyl, pyridinyl, pyrimidinyl, benzofuranyl, indolyl, or purinyl, each of which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

75. The compound according to claim 74 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are imidazolyl, triazolyl, tetrazolyl, thiazolyl, pyridinyl, pyrimidinyl, or purinyl, each of which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

76. The compound according to claim 75 , wherein R 54 and R 55 independently of each other are imidazolyl, triazolyl, tetrazolyl, thiazolyl, pyridinyl, pyrimidinyl, each of which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

77. The compound according to claim 76 , wherein R 54 is imidazolyl optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

78. The compound according to claim 76 , wherein R 54 is thiazolyl optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

79. The compound according to claim 76 , wherein R 54 is tetrazolyl optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

80. The compound according to claim 76 , wherein R 54 is thiazolyl optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

81. The compound according to claim 76 , wherein R 54 is pyridinyl optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

82. The compound according to claim 76 , wherein R 54 is pyrimidinyl optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

83. The compound according to claim 75 , wherein R 54 is purinyl optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R 71 .

84. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 71 is methyl or ═O.

85. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 71 is —C(O)OH.

86. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 71 is —(CH 2 ) 1-3 C(O)OH.

87. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein u is 0 or 1.

101. The compound according to claim 100 , wherein W 6 is —O—R 75 , —C(O)O—R 75 , —C(O)—R 75 ; —NR 75 R 76 , —NHCH 2 C(O)R 75 , —NHC(O)R 75 , —S(O) 2 R 75 , —NHS(O) 2 R 75 ; or W 6 is tetrahydropyranyl, piperidyl, tetrahydrothiopyranyl, or morpholinyl.

102. The compound according to claim 101 , wherein W 6 is —O—R 75 , —C(O)O—R 75 , —NR 75 R 76 , —NHC(O)R 75 , —S(O) 2 R 75 ; or

W 6 is tetrahydropyranyl, piperidyl, tetrahydrothiopyranyl, or morpholinyl.

103. The compound according to claim 102 , wherein W 6 is —O—R 75 , or —C(O)O—R 75 .

104. The compound according to claim 103 , wherein W 6 is —C(O)O—R 75 .

105. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 75 and R 76 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, —OH, and C 1-6 -alkyl optionally substituted with —NH 2 .

106. The compound according to claim 105 , wherein R 75 and R 76 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, —OH, and methyl.

107. The compound according to claim 106 , wherein R 75 and R 76 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and —OH.

108. The compound according to claim 107 , wherein R 75 is hydrogen.
