1. Nitrate salt of a compound selected from the group consisting of:
wherein both amine groups form an ionic bond with the nitrate anion
and isomers thereof.
2. A nitrate salt according to claim 1 wherein the compound is Cetirizine of formula (II).
3. A composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient or carrier.
4. The composition of claim 3 wherein the composition is in a form that can be administered by non systemic administration.
5. The composition of claim 4 , wherein the composition is in a form that can be administered as an aerosol.
6. The composition of claim 4 , wherein the composition is in a topically administrable form.
7. A composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 2 and pharmaceutical acceptable excipient or carrier.
8. The composition of claim 7 , wherein the composition is in a form that can be administered by non systemic administration.
9. The composition of claim 8 , wherein the composition is in a form that can be administered as an aerosol.
10. The composition of claim 8 , wherein the composition is in a topically administrable form.
11. A method for treating respiratory system pathologies, said method comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 1 .
12. A method for treating allergies, said method comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 1 .
13. A method for treating asthma, said method comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 1 .
14. A method for treating respiratory system pathologies, said method comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 3 .
15. A method for treating allergies, said method comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 3 .
16. A method for treating asthma, said method comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 3 .
17. A method for treating respiratory system pathologies, said method comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of the composition of claim 4 .
18. A method for treating allergies, said method comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of the composition of claim 4 .
19. A method for treating asthma, said method comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of the composition of claim 4 .
20. A method for treating respiratory system pathologies, said method comprising administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of the composition of claim 7 .
