Service analysis
Service analysis of a session may be performed at a data distribution device. Systems and techniques for service analysis at a data distribution device may be able to receive a request for service analysis of a session. Additionally, the systems and techniques may be able to determine whether data relevant to the service analysis is available and, if relevant data is available, insert the relevant data in a specified memory.
1 . A method for service analysis at a data distribution device, the method comprising:
receiving a request for service analysis of a session;
determining whether data relevant to the service analysis is available; and
if relevant data is available, inserting the relevant data in a specified memory.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein:
determining whether data relevant to the service analysis is available comprises determining whether a request for the session has been received; and
inserting the relevant data in a specified memory comprises inserting a request in the specified memory if a request for the session has been received.
3 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising:
determining whether the request comprises sensitive data; and
if the request comprises sensitive data, removing the sensitive data before inserting the request in the specified memory.
4 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the request comprises a Hypertext Transfer Protocol request.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein:
determining whether data relevant to the service analysis is available comprises determining whether a response for the session has been received; and
inserting the relevant data in a specified memory comprises inserting a response in the specified memory if a response for the session has been received.
6 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising:
determining whether the response comprises sensitive data; and
if the response comprises sensitive data, removing the sensitive data before inserting the response in the specified memory.
7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
determining a level of recordation for the service analysis; and
inserting data for the service analysis into the specified memory based on the level.
8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving a request to access the inserted data;
determining whether a user associated with the request is authorized to access the inserted data; and
if a user associated with the request is authorized to access the inserted data, allowing access to the inserted data.
9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein allowing access to the inserted data comprises generating a user interface to display the inserted data.
10 . The method of claim 8 , wherein allowing access to the inserted data comprises allowing execution of a request in the inserted data.
11 . The method of claim 8 , wherein allowing access to the inserted data comprises allowing modification of a storage time for the inserted data.
12 . The method of claim 8 , wherein allowing access to the inserted data comprises allowing modification of the inserted data.
13 . The method of claim 1 , wherein relevant data comprises a state of the distribution data device.
14 . An article comprising a machine-readable medium storing instructions operable to cause one or more machines to perform operations comprising:
determining whether a request for service analysis of a session has been received;
determining whether data relevant to the service analysis is available; and
if relevant data is available, inserting the relevant data in a specified memory.
15 . The article of claim 14 , wherein:
determining whether data relevant to the service analysis is available comprises determining whether a request for the session has been received; and
inserting the relevant data in a specified memory comprises inserting a request in the specified memory if a request for the session has been received.
16 . The article of claim 15 , wherein the instructions are further operable to cause one or more machines to perform operations comprising:
determining whether the request comprises sensitive data; and
if the request comprises sensitive data, removing the sensitive data before inserting the request in the specified memory.
17 . The article of claim 14 , wherein the instructions are further operable to cause one or more machines to perform operations comprising:
determining a level of recordation for the service analysis; and
inserting data for the service analysis into the specified memory based on the level.
18 . The article of claim 14 , wherein the instructions are further operable to cause one or more machines to perform operations comprising:
determining whether a request to access the inserted data has been received;
determining whether a user associated with the request is authorized to access the inserted data; and
if a user associated with the request is authorized to access the inserted data, allowing access to the inserted data.
19 . The article of claim 18 , wherein allowing access to the inserted data comprises allowing execution of a request in the inserted data.
20 . The article of claim 18 , wherein allowing access to the inserted data comprises allowing modification of a storage time for the inserted data.
21 . The article of claim 18 , wherein allowing access to the inserted data comprises allowing modification of the inserted data.
22 . The article of claim 14 , wherein relevant data comprises a state of the distribution data device.
23 . A system for service analysis, the system comprising:
a service recorder operable to:
determine whether a request for service analysis of a session has been received;
determine whether data relevant to the service analysis is available; and
if relevant data is available, insert the relevant data in a specified memory.
24 . The system of claim 23 , wherein:
determining whether data relevant to the service analysis is available comprises determining whether a request for the session has been received; and
inserting the relevant data in a specified memory comprises inserting a request in the specified memory if a request for the session has been received.
25 . The system of claim 24 , wherein the recorder is further operable to:
determine whether the request comprises sensitive data; and
if the request comprises sensitive data, remove the sensitive data before inserting the request in the specified memory.
26 . The system of claim 23 , wherein the recorder is further operable to:
determine a level of recordation for the service analysis; and
insert data for the service analysis into the specified memory based on the level.
27 . The system of claim 23 , wherein the recorder is further operable to:
determine whether a request to access the inserted data has been received;
determine whether a user associated with the request is authorized to access the inserted data; and
if a user associated with the request is authorized to access the inserted data, allow access to the inserted data.
28 . The system of claim 27 , wherein allowing access to the inserted data comprises allowing execution of a request in the inserted data.
29 . The system of claim 27 , wherein allowing access to the inserted data comprises allowing modification of a storage time for the inserted data.
30 . The system of claim 27 , wherein allowing access to the inserted data comprises allowing modification of the inserted data.
31 . The system of claim 23 , wherein relevant data comprises a state of the distribution data device.
32 . A method for service analysis at a data distribution device, the method comprising:
receiving a request to access service analysis data for a session;
determining whether a user associated with the request is authorized to access the data; and
if a user associated with the request is authorized to access the data, allowing access to the data.
33 . The method of claim 32 , wherein the data comprises a request for the session.
34 . The method of claim 32 , wherein the data comprises a data distribution device state.
35 . The method of claim 32 , wherein allowing access to the data comprises generating a user interface to display the inserted data.
36 . The method of claim 32 , wherein allowing access to the data comprises allowing execution of a request in the inserted data.
37 . The method of claim 32 , wherein allowing access to the data comprises allowing modification of the inserted data.
38 . The method of claim 32 , wherein allowing access to the data comprises allowing modification of a storage time for the data.
39 . An article comprising a machine-readable medium storing instructions operable to cause one or more machines to perform operations comprising:
determining whether a request to access service analysis data for a session has been received;
determining whether a user associated with the request is authorized to access the data; and
if a user associated with the request is authorized to access the data, allowing access to the data.
40 . The article of claim 39 , wherein the data comprises a data distribution device state.
41 . The article of claim 39 , wherein allowing access to the data comprises allowing execution of a request in the inserted data.
42 . The article of claim 39 , wherein allowing access to the data comprises allowing modification of the inserted data.
43 . The article of claim 39 , wherein allowing access to the data comprises allowing modification of a storage time for the inserted data.
44 . A method for service analysis at a data distribution device, the method comprising:
receiving a request for service analysis of an application session;
determining a recordation level for the service analysis;
determining whether data relevant to the service analysis is available, wherein relevant data comprises a Hypertext Transfer Protocol request for the session and a state of the data distribution device;
if data relevant to the service analysis is available, determining whether the data is in accordance with the recordation level;
if the data is in accordance with the recordation level, determining whether the relevant data comprises sensitive data;
if the relevant data comprises sensitive data, removing the sensitive data from the relevant data;
inserting the relevant data in a database location;
receiving a request to access the inserted data;
determining whether a user associated with the request is authorized to access the inserted data; and
if a user associated with the request is authorized to access the inserted data, allowing access to the inserted data, wherein allowing access comprises:
generating a user interface to display the inserted data;
allowing execution of a request in the inserted data;
allowing modification of a storage time for the inserted data; and
allowing modification of the inserted data.
