Abstract

A refrigerating device including a refrigerating cycle including a plurality of compressors driven by motors, the plurality of compressors comprising a variable speed compressor which can be controlled in capacity and a constant speed compressor which is driven by a motor of which rotor core comprising a cage type conductor and permanent magnets.

Claims (8)

1. A refrigerating device including a refrigerating cycle including a motor, a compressor driven by the motor, a condenser, an expansion valve and an evaporator, said compressor comprising a scroll compressor having compression chambers formed by spiral wraps meshed with each other and said motor comprising a motor including a rotor core comprising a cage type conductor and permanent magnets, wherein said permanent magnets are bipolar magnetized and said motor is driven by an inverter electric source so that frequency of the motor is changed.

2. A refrigerating device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said scroll compressor comprises a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll, wherein said spiral wraps include a spiral wrap of the fixed scroll meshed with a spiral wrap of the orbiting scroll, and said orbiting scroll is gyrated by said motor through a crankshaft.

3. A refrigerating device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said refrigerating device is an air conditioner having an outdoor heat-exchanger and an indoor heat-exchanger.

4. A refrigerating device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said permanent magnets are made of neodymium, iron, boron or samarium-cobalt.

5. A refrigerating device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said motor is located in a motor chamber of a closed container.

6. A refrigerating device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein refrigerant circulating through said refrigerating cycle comprises non-chlorinated refrigerant.

7. A refrigerating device as including a refrigerating cycle including a motor, a compressor driven by the motor, a condenser, an expansion valve and an evaporator, said compressor comprising a scroll compressor having compression chambers formed by spiral wraps meshed with each other and said motor comprising a motor including a rotor core comprising a cage type conductor and permanent magnets, wherein said permanent magnets are made of neodymium, iron, boron or samarium-cobalt, and are covered by coating, nickel plating or aluminum plating.

8. A refrigerating device as including a refrigerating cycle including a motor, a compressor driven by the motor, a condenser, an expansion valve and an evaporator, said compressor comprising a scroll compressor having compression chambers formed by spiral wraps meshed with each other and said motor comprising a motor including a rotor core comprising a cage type conductor and permanent magnets, wherein said motor is located in a motor chamber of a closed container, and an oil sump is provided below the motor chamber, and a lubricating oil in the oil sump lubricates sliding portions due to pressure difference caused by rotational movement.
