Abstract

An apparatus for fabricating a liquid crystal display device includes a controller for providing nitrogen (N 2 ) gas at a constant pressure, a plurality of dispensers receiving the nitrogen gas from the controller, each of the dispensers dotting a silver paste at two or more regions of a first substrate, and a plurality of flow control valves each introducing the nitrogen gas into each of the plurality of dispensers at the same pressure.

Claims (12)

1. An apparatus for fabricating a liquid crystal display device, comprising:

a controller for providing nitrogen (N 2 ) gas at a constant pressure;

a plurality of dispensers receiving the nitrogen gas from the controller, each of the dispensers dotting a silver paste at two or more regions of a first substrate; and

a plurality of flow control valves each introducing the nitrogen gas into each of the plurality of dispensers at the same pressure.

2. The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the liquid crystal display device comprises:

a first substrate having a plurality of thin film transistor and a plurality of pixel electrodes; and

a second substrate facing the first substrate and having a plurality of color filter layers and a common electrode,

wherein the silver paste electrically interconnects the first substrate to the second substrate at the two or more regions.

3. The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein each of the flow control valves is separately provided to each of the plurality of dispensers.

4. The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of dispensers is spaced apart by a predetermined distance interval from one another at the two or more regions of the first substrate.

5. The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the first substrate includes a plurality of liquid crystal display cells each including one of the plurality of the thin film transistors and one of the plurality of pixel electrodes.

6. The apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein each of the liquid crystal display cells includes an active region surrounded by a sealant, and the two or more regions of the first substrate correspond to regions exterior to the sealant of the liquid crystal display cells.
