Beverage dispensing apparatus
A beverage dispensing device for dispensing pressurized beverages at a high flow rate without producing excessive foaming comprising a streamlined valve assembly and a downward extending nozzle assembly which permits a range of containers to be filled from the bottom.
1 . A method for decreasing the formation of foam in carbonated beverages comprising:
directing the flow of liquid to a liquid dispensing nozzle having a liquid flow control valve having an open position and a closed position, a liquid receiving opening, a liquid dispensing opening, and a liquid flow path of decreasing cross-section;
positioning the bottom of the inside of a liquid receiving receptacle near the opening of the nozzle;
moving the valve to the open position to permit the flow of the liquid through the nozzle;
directing the flow of liquid through the nozzle to the fluid dispensing opening in a path generally parallel to the nozzle; and
redirecting the flow of liquid by means of a liquid flow redirector at the opening of the nozzle in a direction generally tangential to the liquid receiving receptacle.
