Abstract

A folding game table having a collapsible construction is disclosed. The folding game table has a plurality of table top portions connected with at least one hinge and movable between an extended position and a folded position. At least one retention coupler is configured to be removably secured to the plurality of table top portions and configured to removably attach at least one table inlay to the plurality of table top portions.

Claims (25)

1. A folding game table comprising:

a plurality of table top portions;

at least one hinge connecting the plurality of table top portions and configured to permit each of the plurality of table top portions to move between an extended position and a folded position;

at least one table inlay; and

at least one retention coupler configured to removably attach the at least one table inlay to the plurality of table top portions;

wherein the at least one retention coupler is positioned about a periphery of a play surface formed on the plurality of table top portions and has a shape that substantially matches a shape of the play surface.

2. The folding game table of claim 1 further comprising a plurality of fasteners attached to the at least one retention coupler and configured to removably secure the at least one retention coupler to the plurality of table top portions.

3. The folding game table of claim 2 wherein each of the plurality of table top portions includes a plurality of apertures disposed therein, each aperture constructed to receive a respective fastener of the plurality of fasteners therein.

4. The folding game table of claim 3 wherein the at least one table inlay has a plurality of holes formed therein, each hole configured to align with a corresponding aperture of the plurality of apertures and constructed to allow passage of the respective fastener therethrough.

5. The folding game table of claim 3 wherein each aperture has a receptacle formed therein, the receptacle configured to operatively engage the respective fastener.

6. The folding game table of claim 2 wherein each fastener has a first end attached to the at least one retention coupler, and a second end having a barb formed thereat.

7. The folding game table of claim 1 further comprising at least one accessory cavity formed in one of the plurality of table top portions and constructed to receive at least one game accessory therein.

8. The folding game table of claim 7 further comprising a lid pivotably attached to one of the plurality of table top portions and constructed to secure the at least one game accessory within the at least one accessory cavity.

9. The folding game table of claim 7 wherein the at least one game accessory is at least one of a plurality of poker chips, at least one die, and a deck of cards.

10. The folding game table of claim 1 wherein the at least one table inlay is constructed of at least one of a felt material, a leather material, and a vinyl material.

11. The folding game table of claim 1 further comprising a pair of handles attached to any of the plurality of table top portions.

12. The folding game table of claim 1 wherein the plurality of table top portions are constructed of blow molded plastic.

13. A folding game table comprising:

a plurality of table top portions;

at least one hinge connecting the plurality of table top portions and configured to permit each of the plurality of table top portions to move between an extended position and a folded position;

at least one table inlay;

at least one retention coupler configured to removably attach the at least one table inlay to the plurality of table top portions;

a plurality of fasteners attached to the at least one retention coupler and configured to removably secure the at least one retention coupler to the plurality of table top portions;

wherein each of the plurality of table top portions includes a plurality of apertures disposed therein, each aperture constructed to receive a respective fastener of the plurality of fasteners therein; and

wherein the at least one table inlay has a plurality of holes formed therein, each hole configured to align with a corresponding aperture of the plurality of apertures and constructed to allow passage of the respective fastener therethrough.
