View Patent ↗The present invention relates to bengamide derivatives which are formed, during fermentation, by the microorganism Myxococcus virescens ST200611 (DSM 15898), to their use for treating cancer diseases, to pharmaceuticals which comprise bengamide derivatives, to a process for preparing bengamides of the formula (V) and to the microorganism Myxococcus virescens ST200611 (DSM 15898)
1. A compound of the formula (I),
wherein
R 1 is H or (C 1 –C 6 )-alkyl,
R 2 is H or OH, and
R 3 is H or —C(═O)—(C 1 –C 6 )-alkyl,
or a physiologically tolerated salt thereof.
2. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 1 is H or methyl.
3. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R 3 is H.
4. The compound according to claim 2 , wherein R 3 is H.

17. A method of treating a cancer, selected from the group consisting of breast cancer, glioblastoma, colon cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer and leukemia, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 1 .
18. A method of treating a cancer, selected from the group consisting of breast cancer, glioblastoma, colon cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer and leukemia, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 2 .
19. A method of treating a cancer, selected from the group consisting of breast cancer, glioblastoma, colon cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer and leukemia, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 3 .
20. A method of treating a cancer, selected form the group consisting of breast cancer, glioblastoma, colon cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer and leukemia, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 4 .
21. A method of treating a cancer, selected form the group consisting of breast cancer, glioblastoma, colon cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer and leukemia, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 5 .
22. A method of treating a cancer, selected from the group consisting of breast cancer, glioblastoma, colon cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer and leukemia, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 9 .
23. A method of treating a cancer, selected from the group consisting of breast cancer, glioblastoma, colon cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer and leukemia, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 13 .
24. A pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one compound of formula (I) or of a physiologically tolerated salt thereof, according to claim 1 ; in combination with at least one pharmaceutically suitable carrier substance.
25. The pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one compound of formula (I) or of a physiologically tolerated salt thereof, according to claim 2 ; in combination with at least one pharmaceutically suitable carrier substance.
26. The pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one compound of formula (I) or of a physiologically tolerated salt thereof, according to claim 3 ; in combination with at least one pharmaceutically suitable carrier substance.
27. The pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one compound of formula (I) or of a physiologically tolerated salt thereof, according to claim 4 ; in combination with at least one pharmaceutically suitable carrier substance.
28. The pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one compound of formula (II) or of a physiologically tolerated salt thereof, according to claim 5 ; in combination with at least one pharmaceutically suitable carrier substance.
29. The pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one compound of formula (III) or of a physiologically tolerated salt thereof, according to claim 9 ; in combination with at least one pharmaceutically suitable carrier substance.
30. The pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one compound of formula (IV) or of a physiologically tolerated salt thereof, according to claim 13 ; in combination with at least one pharmaceutically suitable carrier substance.
