from about 1% by weight to 25% by weight block copolymer comprising an A block comprising polyvinylarene and a B block comprising poly(monoalkenyl),

from about 45% by weight to about 75% by weight spherical superabsorbent polymer particles having a median particle diameter of from 20 μm to 30 μm, and plasticizer,

said thermoplastic composition exhibiting a viscosity of no greater than 100,000 centipoise at 300° F., as measured according to the viscosity test method.

2. The article of claim 1 , wherein said substrate is a film.

3. The article of claim 1 , wherein said thermoplastic composition further comprises tackifying agent.

4. The article of claim 1 , wherein said substrate comprises a liquid impermeable barrier sheet, said article further comprising a liquid permeable sheet, said thermoplastic composition being disposed between said liquid permeable sheet and said barrier sheet.

5. An article comprising:

a substrate; and

a thermoplastic composition disposed on the substrate, said thermoplastic composition comprising

block copolymer comprising an A block comprising polyvinylarene and a B block comprising poly(monoalkenyl),

from about 45% by weight to about 75% by weight spherical superabsorbent polymer particles having a median particle diameter of from 20 μm to 30 μm, and plasticizing oil,

said composition exhibiting at least one of

a water gel time of no greater than 2 minutes,

a 0.9% saline solution gel time of no greater than 1 hour,

an absorbent capacity of at least 70 g water/g of composition,

an absorbent capacity of at least 25 g 0.9% aqueous saline solution/g of composition, and

a wet tensile strength of at least 15 g/in 2 ,

said composition exhibiting a viscosity of no greater than 30,000 centipoise at 300° F., as measured according to the viscosity test method.

6. The article of claim 5 , wherein said substrate is a film.

7. The article of claim 5 , wherein said thermoplastic composition exhibits a water gel time of no greater than 2 minutes, and an absorption capacity of at least 70 g water/g composition and at least 10 g 0.9% saline solution/g composition.

8. The article of claim 5 , wherein said thermoplastic composition further comprises tackifying agent.

9. A method of making the article of claim 1 , said method comprising applying said thermoplastic composition on said substrate.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein said applying comprises slot coating, gravure coating, screen printing, spiral spraying, melt blowing, random spraying, nonrandom spraying, or a combination thereof.

11. A method of making the article of claim 5 , said method comprising applying said thermoplastic composition on said substrate.

12. The method of claim 11 , wherein said applying comprises slot coating, gravure coating, screen printing, spiral spraying, melt blowing, random spraying, nonrandom spraying, or a combination thereof.

13. An article comprising:

a substrate; and

a thermoplastic composition disposed on said substrate, said thermoplastic composition comprising

from about 1% by weight to 25% by weight block copolymer comprising an A block comprising polyvinylarene and a B block comprising poly(monoalkenyl),

from about 60% by weight to about 75% by weight superabsorbent polymer particles having a median particle diameter of from 20 μm to 30 μm, and plasticizer,

said thermoplastic composition exhibiting a viscosity of no greater than 100,000 centipoise at 300° F., as measured according to the viscosity test method.

14. The article of claim 13 , wherein said thermoplastic composition exhibits a viscosity no greater than 30,000 cps at 300° F.
