Search engine for video and graphics
A method of selecting graphic or video files having corresponding locators used to locate such graphic or video files using a computer. Identifiers are created by searching an area within a web page near a graphic or video file for searchable identification terms and searching an area within a web page near links to a graphic or video for searchable identification terms. The identifiers are stored in a database. User requests for graphic or video file content are received and the database of identifiers is searched to find graphic and video files corresponding criteria of the user. Graphic or video file content is then provided to the user.

48 . A method of retrieving graphic or video content, the method comprising:
receiving search criteria for graphic or video content;
searching for the graphic or video content based on the search criteria;
providing to a user the graphic or video content matching the search criteria;
automatically searching for graphic or video content as new graphic or video content becomes available to the user; and
providing to the user the new graphic or video content matching the search criteria.
49 . The method of claim 48 further comprising automatically storing in a storage device the graphic or video content and the new graphic or video content.
50 . The method of claim 48 further comprising retrieving audio content matching the search criteria.
51 . A method of retrieving graphic or video content, the method comprising:
receiving search criteria for graphic or video content;
searching for the graphic or video content based on the search criteria;
providing to a user search results matching the search criteria, wherein the search results include graphic or video content currently available;
automatically searching for graphic or video content as new graphic or video content becomes available to the user; and
providing to the user new search results matching the search criteria, wherein the new search results include new graphic or video content.
52 . The method of claim 51 further comprising automatically storing in a storage device the search results with the graphic or video content currently available and the new search results with the new graphic or video content.
53 . The method of claim 51 further comprising providing to the user the new graphic and video content corresponding to the new search results.
54 . The method of claim 51 further comprising providing to the user audio content corresponding to the new search results.
55 . A method of retrieving one or more graphic or video files having corresponding identifier information used to locate graphic or video content, the method comprising:
automatically acquiring identifier information related to one or more graphic or video files without user input, wherein the identifier information is acquired by searching an area near a link to the one or more graphic or video files within a web page for searchable identification terms;
creating one or more identifiers based on the identifier information;
storing the one or more identifiers in a database;
receiving search criteria for graphic or video file content;
searching the one or more identifiers in the database based on the search criteria;
providing the graphic or video file content matching the search criteria to the user;
automatically searching the identifiers in the database based on the search criteria for new graphic or video file content that have become available; and
providing to the user the new graphic or video content matching the search criteria.
56 . The method of claim 55 further comprising automatically storing in a storage device the graphic or video file content and the new graphic or video content.
57 . The method of claim 56 further comprising generating in the storage device a file comprising the graphic or video content and the new graphic or video content.
58 . The method of claim 49 further comprising generating in the storage device a file comprising the graphic or video content and the new graphic or video content.
59 . The method of claim 48 further comprising receiving from the user at least one of authorization information and payment for the graphic or video content.
60 . The method of claim 48 further comprising receiving from the user at least one of authorization information and payment for the new graphic or video content.
61 . The method of claim 51 further comprising providing to the user the graphic and video content currently available corresponding to the search results.
62 . The method of claim 51 further comprising providing to the user audio content corresponding to the search results.
63 . The method of claim 52 further comprising generating in the storage device a file comprising the search results and the new search results.
