Abstract

An application programming interface facilitates access to code modules, such as real time integration process code modules, deployed as services in a services oriented architecture.

Claims (28)

1 . A method, comprising:

providing a code module for executing a data integration job;

providing a registry of services;

identifying the code module in the registry of services; and

facilitating access to the code module as a service from the registry of services via a services oriented architecture, wherein facilitating access includes providing an application programming interface deployed on a server for managing access to at least one binding for the code module.

2 . The method of claim 1 wherein the code module comprises an extraction module.

3 . The method of claim 1 wherein the code module comprises a data transformation module.

4 . The method of claim 1 wherein the code module comprises a loading module.

5 . The method of claim 1 wherein the code module comprises a metadata management module.

6 . The method of claim 1 wherein the code module comprises a data profiling module.

7 . The method of claim 1 wherein the code module comprises a mapping module.

8 . The method of claim 1 wherein the code module comprises a data quality module.

9 . The method of claim 1 wherein the code module comprises a data cleansing module.

10 . The method of claim 1 wherein the code module comprises an atomic data repository module.

11 . A system, comprising:

a code module for executing a data integration job;

a registry of services, the code module identified in the registry of services and the code module available as a service from the registry of services via a services oriented architecture; and

an application programming interface deployed on a server for managing access to the code module, wherein access includes access to at least one binding for the code module.

12 . The system of claim 111 wherein the code module comprises an extraction module.

13 . The system of claim 11 wherein the code module comprises a data transformation module.

14 . The system of claim 111 wherein the code module comprises a loading module.

15 . The system of claim 11 wherein the code module comprises a metadata management module.

16 . The system of claim 11 wherein the code module comprises a data profiling module.

17 . The system of claim 11 wherein the code module comprises a mapping module.

18 . The system of claim 11 wherein the code module comprises a data quality module.

19 . The system of claim 11 wherein the code module comprises a data cleansing module.

20 . The system of claim 11 wherein the code module comprises an atomic data repository module.
