Abstract

Code modules are deployed as services in a services oriented architecture to enable location-based real time data integration services.

Claims (30)

1 . A method, comprising:

providing a code module for executing a data integration job;

providing a registry of services;

identifying the code module in the registry of services; and

facilitating access to the code module in real time from the registry of services via a services oriented architecture, wherein the code module enables a data integration job that is associated with a database of location information.

2 . The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job performs an extraction function.

3 . The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job performs a data transformation function.

4 . The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job performs a loading function.

5 . The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job performs a metadata management function.

6 . The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job performs a data profiling function.

7 . The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job performs a mapping function.

8 . The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job performs a data quality function.

9 . The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job performs a data cleansing function.

10 . The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job performs an atomic data repository function.

11 . A system, comprising:

a code module for executing a data integration job; and

a registry of services;

wherein the code module is identified in the registry of services;

wherein access to the code module is facilitated in real time from the registry of services via a services oriented architecture; and

wherein the code module enables a data integration job that is associated with a database of location information.

12 . The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration job performs an extraction function.

13 . The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration job performs a data transformation function.

14 . The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration job performs a loading function.

15 . The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration job performs a metadata management function.

16 . The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration job performs a data profiling function.

17 . The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration job performs a mapping function.

18 . The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration job performs a data quality function.

19 . The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration job performs a data cleansing function.

20 . The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration job performs an atomic data repository function.

21 - 39 . (canceled)
