Abstract

The present invention is directed to novel insole derivatives, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and their use in the treatment of disorders and conditions modulated by the androgen receptor.

Claims (17)

1. A compound of formula (III)

wherein

Y is selected from the group consisting of NH and N-S02-CH 3;

R 4 hydrogen;

a is 1;

R 5 is selected from the group consisting of cyano and trifluoromethyl;

b is 0;

c is 0;

R 7 is hydrogen;

R 2 is methyl;

R 3 is selected from the group consisting of chloromethyl, —CH 2 —S-ethyl, —CH 2 —S -phenyl, —CH 2 —S—(4chloroprene), —CH 2 —S—(4-Fluor phenyl) and —CH 2 —S-cyclohexyl;

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

2. The compound of compound of claim 1 wherein Y is NH.

3. A compound of claim 1 selected from the group consisting of:

1 -Cyclohexylsulfanyl-2-(5 -trifluoromethyl- 1 H-prolog [3 ,2-b]pyridine-2-yl)-propane-2-ol;

1 -Phenylsulfanyl-2-(5 -trifluoromethyl- 1 H-prolog [3,2-b]pyridine-2-yl)-propane-2-ol; 1 -(4-Chloro-phenylsulfany-2-(5-trifluoromethl-1H-prolog(3,2-b)pyridine-2-yl)-propane-2-ol;

1-(4-Fluoro-phenylsufanyl)-2-(5-trifluoromethyl-1H-prolog(3,2-b)pyridine-2-yl)-propane-2-ol, and 2-(2-Ethisulfany-1-methyl-ethyl)-1H-prolog(3,2-b)pyridine-5- carbonitrile.
