Abstract

The present invention is directed to peptide analogues of glucagon-like peptide-1, the pharmaceutically-acceptable salts thereof, to methods of using such analogues to treat mammals and to pharmaceutical compositions useful thereof comprising said analogues.

Claims (1)

1. A method for treating a disease selected from the group consisting of Type I diabetes and Type II diabetes in a subject in need thereof, said method comprising administering to said subject an effective amount of a compound according to the formula [Aib 8,35 ]hGLP-1(7-36)NH 2 (SEQ ID NO:2), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
