Abstract

An ink composition for inkjet recording, capable of being cured upon radiation exposure, is provided and contains: a coloring material; and a polymerizing compound. The polymerizing compound is a specific α-heteromethacryl compound. A method of producing lithographic printing plate is also provided and includes: ejecting an ink composition for inkjet recording onto a hydrophilic substrate, the ink composition containing a coloring material and a polymerizing compound; and irradiating the ink composition on the hydrophilic substrate to cure the ink composition, so as to form an image.

Claims (13)

1 . An ink composition for inkjet recording, capable of being cured upon radiation exposure, which comprises: a coloring material; and a polymerizing compound having a structure represented by formula (I):

wherein R a and R b each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group or an organic group; Z represents CN or COX 2 ; X 1 represents a halogen atom or a group bonded to α-carbon via a hetero atom; X 2 represents a halogen atom or a group bonded to the carbonyl group via a hetero atom; and X 1 and X 2 , R a and R b , X 1 and R a , or X 1 and R b may combine with each other to form a ring structure.

2 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 1 , wherein the organic group is at least one of a hydrocarbon group, a substituted oxy group, a substituted thio group, a substituted amino group, a substituted carbonyl group and a carboxylato group.

3 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 1 , wherein the group bonded to α-carbon via the hetero atom is at least one of a hydroxyl group, a substituted oxy group, a mercapto group, a substituted thio group, an amino group, a substituted amino group, a sulfo group, a sulfonato group, a substituted sulfinyl group, a substituted sulfonyl group, a phosphono group, a substituted phosophono group, a phosphonato group, a substituted phosphonato group, a nitro group and a heterocyclic group.

4 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 1 , wherein the group bonded to the carbonyl group via the hetero atom is at least one of a hydroxyl group, a substituted oxy group, a mercapto group, a substituted thio group, an amino group, a substituted amino group and a heterocyclic group.

5 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 1 , which has the polymerizing compound in an amount of 5 to 95% by weight.

6 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 1 , which comprises another polymerizing compound other than the polymerizing compound having the structure represented by formula (I).

7 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 6 , wherein the polymerizing compound other than the polymerizing compound having the structure represented by formula (I) is at least one of a monoacrylate compound, multifunctional acrylate monomer and a multifunctional acrylate oligomer.

8 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 6 , which has the polymerizing compound other than the polymerizing compound having the structure represented by formula (I) in an amount of 5 to 85% by weight of all of polymerizing compounds.

9 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 1 , which comprises a polymerization initiator.

10 . A method of producing a lithographic printing plate, comprising: ejecting an ink composition for inkjet recording onto a hydrophilic substrate, the ink composition comprising a coloring material and a polymerizing compound; and irradiating the ink composition on the hydrophilic substrate to cure the ink composition, so as to form an image.

11 . The method of producing a lithographic printing plate according to claim 10 , wherein the polymerizing compound is a compound having a structure represented by formula (I):

wherein R a and R b each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group or an organic group; Z represents CN or COX 2 ; X 1 represents a halogen atom or a group bonded to α-carbon via a hetero atom; X 2 represents a halogen atom or a group bonded to the carbonyl group via a hetero atom; and X 1 and X 2 , R a and R b , X 1 and R a , or X 1 and R b may combine with each other to form a ring structure.
