Ink composition for inkjet recording and method of producing lithographic printing plate using the same
An ink composition for inkjet recording, capable of being cured upon radiation exposure, is provided and contains: a coloring material; and a polymerizing compound. The polymerizing compound is a specific α-heteromethacryl compound. A method of producing lithographic printing plate is also provided and includes: ejecting an ink composition for inkjet recording onto a hydrophilic substrate, the ink composition containing a coloring material and a polymerizing compound; and irradiating the ink composition on the hydrophilic substrate to cure the ink composition, so as to form an image.
1 . An ink composition for inkjet recording, capable of being cured upon radiation exposure, which comprises: a coloring material; and a polymerizing compound having a structure represented by formula (I):
wherein R a and R b each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group or an organic group; Z represents CN or COX 2 ; X 1 represents a halogen atom or a group bonded to α-carbon via a hetero atom; X 2 represents a halogen atom or a group bonded to the carbonyl group via a hetero atom; and X 1 and X 2 , R a and R b , X 1 and R a , or X 1 and R b may combine with each other to form a ring structure.
2 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 1 , wherein the organic group is at least one of a hydrocarbon group, a substituted oxy group, a substituted thio group, a substituted amino group, a substituted carbonyl group and a carboxylato group.

The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 1 , wherein the group bonded to α-carbon via the hetero atom is at least one of a hydroxyl group, a substituted oxy group, a mercapto group, a substituted thio group, an amino group, a substituted amino group, a sulfo group, a sulfonato group, a substituted sulfinyl group, a substituted sulfonyl group, a phosphono group, a substituted phosophono group, a phosphonato group, a substituted phosphonato group, a nitro group and a heterocyclic group.

The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 1 , wherein the group bonded to the carbonyl group via the hetero atom is at least one of a hydroxyl group, a substituted oxy group, a mercapto group, a substituted thio group, an amino group, a substituted amino group and a heterocyclic group.
5 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 1 , which has the polymerizing compound in an amount of 5 to 95% by weight.
6 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 1 , which comprises another polymerizing compound other than the polymerizing compound having the structure represented by formula (I).

The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 6 , wherein the polymerizing compound other than the polymerizing compound having the structure represented by formula (I) is at least one of a monoacrylate compound, multifunctional acrylate monomer and a multifunctional acrylate oligomer.
8 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 6 , which has the polymerizing compound other than the polymerizing compound having the structure represented by formula (I) in an amount of 5 to 85% by weight of all of polymerizing compounds.
9 . The ink composition for inkjet recording according to claim 1 , which comprises a polymerization initiator.

A method of producing a lithographic printing plate, comprising: ejecting an ink composition for inkjet recording onto a hydrophilic substrate, the ink composition comprising a coloring material and a polymerizing compound; and irradiating the ink composition on the hydrophilic substrate to cure the ink composition, so as to form an image.
11 . The method of producing a lithographic printing plate according to claim 10 , wherein the polymerizing compound is a compound having a structure represented by formula (I):
wherein R a and R b each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group or an organic group; Z represents CN or COX 2 ; X 1 represents a halogen atom or a group bonded to α-carbon via a hetero atom; X 2 represents a halogen atom or a group bonded to the carbonyl group via a hetero atom; and X 1 and X 2 , R a and R b , X 1 and R a , or X 1 and R b may combine with each other to form a ring structure.
