Abstract

A system for providing enhanced radio content to a remote user is disclosed. The system includes at least one input that receives non-radio input; and, at least one output interconnected to the at least one input via a hub, wherein the at least one output receives the enhanced radio content via the hub after at least one manipulation of the non-radio input by the hub to form the enhanced radio content, wherein the at least one manipulation is in accordance with the at least one non-radio input.

Claims (25)

1. A system for providing auction services for media play, said system comprising:

a hub that receives enhanced radio content available for a media play, and a first cost range associated with the enhanced radio content;

at least one input to said hub, wherein said input receives non-radio input comprising at least available scheduling for the media play and a second cost range for the media play within the available scheduling; and

an auction engine communicatively associated with said hub that coordinates the enhanced radio content, the first cost range, the available scheduling, and the second cost range to enable the media play of the enhanced radio content within the available scheduling.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein said non-radio input further comprises at least one of song and artist information, news, weather, traffic, station content, AMBER Alerts, and advertisements.

3. The system of claim 1 , wherein said non-radio input further comprises one selected from the group consisting of news, current events, play lists, requests, advertising, and heuristic information.

4. The system of claim 1 , wherein said auction engine is associated with eBay.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein said auction engine is associated with Google.

6. The system of claim 1 , wherein said hub receives an input identifying at least one output device.

7. The system of claim 6 , wherein said system outputs to said identified output device.

8. The system of claim 7 , wherein said identified output device identification includes at least one selected from the group consisting of ownership, description, target parameters, and permission of the device.

9. The system of claim 8 , wherein said target parameters include supported data types.

10. The system of claim 1 , wherein said hub receives an input identifying at least one user.

11. The system of claim 1 , wherein said non-radio input further comprises a time frame for content delivery.

12. The system of claim 11 , wherein said time frame includes at least one of start, finish and period of delivery.

13. The system of claim 1 , wherein said hub includes software.

14. The system of claim 13 , wherein said software defines the ownership, description, expiration, data type, pricing and permission of content.

15. The system of claim 13 , wherein said software enables said hub to receive said at least one input.

16. The system of claim 15 , wherein said at least one input is designated by said software, and wherein said input includes at least one of file upload, file pull, file push, a distribution list, query to retrieve content based on a key, or create database log definition.

17. A method for providing auction services for media play, comprising:

receiving enhanced radio content available for a media play and a first cost range associated with the enhanced radio content at a hub;

receiving at least one input at said hub, wherein said input comprises at least available scheduling for the media play and a second cost range for the media play within the available scheduling; and

coordinating the enhanced radio content, the first cost range, the available scheduling, and the second cost range to enable the media play of the enhanced radio content within the available scheduling through an auction engine communicatively associated with said hub.

18. The method of claim 17 , wherein the hub includes software that enables the hub to receive the at least one input.

19. The method of claim 18 , wherein said at least one input is designated by said software, and wherein said input includes at least one of file upload, file pull, file push, a distribution list, query to retrieve content based on a key, or create database log definition.
