Multi-panel writing surface and visual display device
The present inventive subject matter relates to a multi-panel writing surface and visual display device. More particularly, the present inventive subject matter relates to a multi-panel writing surface and visual display device with each panel having an erasable surface, and which may be mounted to a surface to display information. In particular, the present inventive subject matter relates to a multi panel writing surface and visual display device comprising at least one hinge, a front panel having at least one peripheral edge attached to the at least one hinge, a back panel having at least one peripheral edge attached to the at least one hinge; and at least one intermediate panel having at least one peripheral edge attached to the at least one hinge.

21 . A portfolio comprised of
a piano hinge having a joint and an elongated rod positioned on an axis within said joint;
a first member rotatably connected to and extending radially from said axis of said piano hinge,
a first panel and a first panel attaching mechanism whereby said first panel is attached to said first member through said first panel attaching mechanism;
a second member rotatably connected to and extending radially from said axis of said piano hinge,
a second panel and a second panel attaching mechanism whereby said second panel is attached to said second member through said second panel attaching mechanism;
at least one intermediate member rotatably connected to and extending radially from said axis of said piano hinge, and
at least one intermediate panel and at least one intermediate panel attaching mechanism whereby said at least one intermediate panel is attached to said at least one intermediate member through said at least one intermediate panel attaching mechanism.
22 . A portfolio as recited in claim 21 wherein said elongated rod extends an entire length of said joint.
23 . A portfolio as recited in claim 21 further comprised of a plurality of additional intermediate panels.
24 . A portfolio as recited in claim 23 wherein said plurality of intermediate panels are comprised of dual writing surfaces.
25 . A portfolio as recited in claim 21 , wherein said at least one intermediate panel is comprised of dual writing surfaces.
26 . A portfolio as recited in claim 21 , wherein said first panel is comprised of a writing surface.
