Integrated circuit card with situation dependent identity authentication
View Patent ↗This invention concerns an integrated circuit (IC) device, such as smart cards, electronic wallets, PC cards, and the like, and various methods for authenticating identities and authorizing transactions based on the authenticated identities in a situation-dependent manner.
1. A system comprising:
data storage means;
one or more executable programs on the data storage means; and
one or more masks on the data storage means and operably associated with one or more programs, the masks being configured to temporarily modify authenticated identities when a program with which the one more or masks are associated executes, wherein the masks either extend or restrict the authenticated identities.
2. One or more computer-readable storage media comprising computer executable instruction that are executable on a computer, the computer-readable storage media comprising:
data storage means;
one or more executable programs on the data storage means; and
one or more masks on the data storage means and operably associated with one or more programs, the masks being configured to temporarily modify authenticated identities when a program with which the one more or masks are associated executes, wherein the masks either extend or restrict the authenticated identities.
