Claims (12)

1. An avian decoy comprising:

(a) a decoy body;

(b) a first leg stub movably attached to said decoy body for being moved between an extended position and a folded position inside of said decoy body;

(c) a second leg stub movably attached to said decoy body for being moved between an extended position and a folded position inside of said decoy body;

(d) first elastic means attaching said first leg stub to said decoy body; and

(e) second elastic means attaching said second leg stub to said decoy body;

said decoy body having a hollow interior for receiving said first and second leg stubs when in said folded positions; said decoy body having a bottom; said decoy body having an aperture in said bottom thereof communicating with said hollow interior; said decoy body having a first slot extending from said aperture for receiving said first elastic means when said first leg stub is in said folded position; and said decoy body having a second slot extending from said aperture for receiving said second elastic means when said second leg stub is in said folded position.

2. An avian decoy comprising:

(a) a decoy body, said decoy body having a hollow interior;

(b) a stake having an upper end for rotatably supporting said decoy body and having a lower end for being anchored to a support surface, said stake having an axis;

(c) an arm member extending peripherally from said stake;

(d) a funnel within said hollow interior, said funnel having a conical shaped inner surface, an enlarged open lower end and a small upper end for supportingly receiving said upper end of said stake; said funnel having a slot therein for receiving said arm member therethrough when said small upper end of said funnel supportingly receives said upper end of said stake, said slot having a first slot side and having a second slot side opposed thereto, said first slot side engaging said arm member when said decoy body has rotated in a first direction about said axis a desired amount and said second slot side engaging said arm member when said decoy body has rotated in a second direction about said axis a desired amount.
