MOBILE SEARCH RESULT CLUSTERING
Improved capabilities are disclosed for receiving a search query from a mobile communication facility and presenting at least one search result category to the mobile communication facility. In embodiments, search categories may be associated with a search vertical, and may use any number of categories or characteristics. Search categories may be sorted based on relevancy or based on other criteria. A search category may be associated with a hyperlink or a graphic icon in exemplary embodiments.
1 . A method of grouping mobile search results comprising:
receiving a search query from a mobile communication facility; and
presenting at least one search result category to the mobile communication facility.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the mobile communication facility is a phone.

8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one search result category is based on a taxonomy.
9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one search result category is associated with a search vertical.

41 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the presentation is sorted based on a relevancy to the search term.
42 . The method of claim 41 , wherein the relevancy is based at least in part on information relating to past user content interactions.
43 . The method of claim 41 , wherein the relevancy is explicitly defined.
44 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one search result category presented to the mobile communication facility are categories containing the greatest number of results.
45 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one search result category presented to the mobile communication facility contain a reduced number of results within each category.
46 . The method of claim 45 , wherein the reduced number of results displayed is proportionate to the total number of search results from each category.
47 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one search result category includes a title.
48 . The method of claim 47 , wherein the title is associated with a hyperlink.
49 . The method of claim 48 , wherein clicking on the hyperlink displays the results for that category.
50 . The method of claim 48 , wherein clicking on the hyperlink further segments the search results associated with the category title into subcategories.
51 . The method of claim 47 , wherein the title is not a hyperlink when a text of the title is identical to a text of the search query.
52 . A system of grouping mobile search results comprising:
a receiving facility adapted to receive a search query from a mobile communication facility; and
a presenting facility adapted to present at least one search result category to the mobile communication facility.
