Abstract

The present invention relates to new 2-Phenyl-1-[4-(2-Aminoethoxy)-Benzyl]-Indole compounds having the general structures below: or which are useful in treating or preventing bone loss.

Claims (4)

1. A compound of formula 1-[4-(2-Azepan-1-yl-ethoxy)-benzyl-2-(4-hydroxy-phenyl])-3-methyl-1H-indol-5-ol, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

2. The compound according to claim 1 , which is 1-[4-(2-Azepan-1-yl-ethoxy)-benzyl-2-(4-hydroxy-phenyl])-3-methyl-1H-indol-5-ol.

3. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound of claim 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutical carrier or excipient.

4. A method of treating or preventing bone loss in a mammal, the method comprising administering to a mammal in need thereof an effective amount of the compound of claim 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
