Gaming table with electronic accounts for monitoring total game information
Systems and methods for playing live casino games. The systems have changeable displays which portray virtual playing cards or symbols to live participants. Shuffling, cutting, dealing and return of playing cards are accomplished using data processing functions within an electronic game processor or processors which enable these functions to be performed quickly and without manual manipulation of playing cards. The invention allows casinos to speed play and reduce the risk of cheating while maintaining the attractive ambiance of a live table game. The systems can also be multi-user slot machines using the processor to associate or assign one or more symbols either with the virtual playing cards or as slot symbols in participant subsets. The participant subsets are compared to a predetermined list so that payoffs can be awarded on the basis of winning symbols or combinations of symbols.

said casino table having plural playing positions to accommodate plural players;
a plurality of player displays at the playing positions, said player displays showing a plurality of changeable display images for said players;
at least one processor for processing information concerning a game being played at the casino table;
at least one means for providing electronic value information to said at least one processor which are associated with active players which can be used by the player to wager at the casino table.
68 . A casino table according to claim 67 wherein the at least one means for providing electronic value information is a detector capable of reading value from a device brought into proximity to the casino table.
69 . A casino table according to claim 67 wherein the at least one means for providing electronic value information is from an electronic chip.
70 . A casino table according to claim 67 wherein the at least one means for providing electronic value information is from a card which is used in the casino table.
71 . A casino table according to claim 67 wherein the at least one means for providing electronic value information is from a smart card which is connected to the casino table.
72 . A casino table according to claim 67 wherein the at least one means for providing electronic value information is from a programmable magnetic device.
73 . A casino table according to claim 67 wherein the at least one means for providing electronic value information is a bank card.
74 . A casino table according to claim 67 wherein the at least one means for providing electronic value information is an identification device which also allows electronic value information to be accessed and used at the casino table.
75 . A casino table for play by multiple players who attend and participate in a casino game at a live game location about the casino table, comprising:
said casino table having plural playing positions to accommodate plural players;
a plurality of player displays at the playing positions, said player displays showing a plurality of changeable display images for said players;
at least one processor for processing information concerning a game being played at the casino table;
at least one detector for detecting value and making it available to said at least one processor using an electronic chip.
76 . A casino table according to claim 75 wherein the at least one detector is for detecting value from a radio frequency identification device.
77 . A casino table according to claim 75 wherein the at least one detector is for indicating value and identification of the players.
78 . A casino table according to claim 75 wherein the at least one detector is for detecting value from a smart card.
79 . A casino table according to claim 75 wherein the at least one detector is for detecting value from a bank card.
80 . A casino table according to claim 75 wherein the at least one detector is for detecting value from a processor used in connection with the casino table.
81 . A casino table according to claim 75 wherein the at least one detector is for detecting value from a computer linked to the casino table.
82 . A casino table according to claim 75 and further comprising display images presented on said at least one player display that indicates the value available to a player in playing a game at the casino table.
83 . A casino table for play by multiple players who attend and participate in a casino game at a live game location about the casino table, comprising:
said casino table having plural playing positions to accommodate plural players;
a plurality of player displays at the playing positions, said player displays showing a plurality of changeable display images for said players;
at least one display of the casino table displaying an image indicating value a player has to wager in playing the casino game, such value being provided to a processor connected to the casino table and adapted so that all plays and betting of players is recorded.
84 . A casino table according to claim 83 wherein value is stored in a processor connected to the casino table and based on value stored in said processor.
85 . A casino table according to claim 83 and further comprising electronic chips which have value indicated in display images presented on said at least one player display that indicates the value available to a player in playing a game at the casino table.
