Information reproducing apparatus
View Patent ↗The present invention provides an information reproducing apparatus which can directly and intuitively designate a reproduction point, as desired by a user, on the basis of a change in level of a visually-provided information amount. An optical disk reproducing apparatus 100 reads content data from an optical disk 10 loaded and has a reproduction-time specification operating unit 220 which is formed by a movable operator MF. The reproduction-time specification operating unit 220 displays a change in amount of information on a beat according to elapsed time in the entire content data and includes a movable operator MF which is used to specify reproduction time of the optical disk 10 while being movable in an operation area OF corresponding to a display area A 1. The reproduction-time specification operating unit 220 moves the movable operator MF such that the center of the movable operator MF corresponds to the reproduction time of the contents data in the beat density data displayed on a display unit 221.
1. An information reproducing apparatus which reproduces content data having a predetermined time length, the information reproducing apparatus comprising:
an acquisition device for acquiring said content data and elapsed-time information indicating elapsed time in reproducing said content data;
an analysis device for analyzing a change in amount of information according to the elapsed time in reproducing said content data based on said acquired content data and elapsed-time information;
a display control device for displaying the change in amount of information on the content data according to the elapsed time in a form of level information on display device, the change in amount of information on said content data according to the elapsed time being analyzed in the whole of said acquired content data;
an operation device having an operator, a user being able to directly make contact with said operator, said operator being directly moved within a predetermined operation area according to operation of the user, said operator being used in specifying start time for starting reproduction of said acquired content data from arbitrary time;
a detection device for detecting whether or not an operational personnel makes contact with said operator when said content data is reproduced;
a reproduction control device for causing said reproduction device to perform the reproduction of said content data from the start time specified by said operator, and for stopping the reproduction of said content data when said detection device detects that the operational personnel makes contact with said operator; and
a computation device for computing reproduction time of said content data corresponding to a position in the operation area indicated by said operator, when said reproduction control device stops the reproduction of said content data being caused by the contact of said operational personnel with said operator being detected, and when said detection device detects that said operational personnel does not make contact with said operator,
wherein when said reproduction control device stops the reproduction of said content data being caused by the contact of said operational personnel with said operator being detected, and when said detection device detects that said operational personnel does not make contact with said operator, said reproduction control device controls said reproduction device to resumes the reproduction of said content data from said computed reproduction time.
2. The information reproducing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein
said display device has a display area where the level information on the whole of said content data is simultaneously displayed, and said operation device has said operator which is moved within the operation area corresponding to the display area of the level information.
3. The information reproducing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein
said operation device has said operation area, said operation area including one end portion provided along with one end portion of said display area and the other end portion provided along with the other end portion of said display area.

The information reproducing apparatus as in any one of claims 1 to 3 , further comprising said display device for displaying the change in amount of information on the content data according to the elapsed time in a form of the level information, the change in amount of information on the content data according to the elapsed time being analyzed in the whole of said acquired content data.
5. The information reproducing apparatus as in claim 1 , wherein
said display control device displays the reproduction time in a movable range of said operator on said display device according to the reproduction of said content data while specifying the level information on reproduction time of the content data in said display device.
6. An information reproducing apparatus which reproduces content data having a predetermined time length, the information reproducing apparatus comprising:
an acquisition device for acquiring said content data and time length data indicating the time length in reproducing said content data;
an operation device having an operator, a user being able to directly make contact with said operator, said operator being directly moved within a predetermined operation area according to operation of the user, said operator being used in specifying start time for starting reproduction of said acquired content data from arbitrary time;
a reproduction control device for causing reproduction time of said content data to correspond to an operation range of said operator based on said acquired time length data, said reproduction control device causing reproduction device to reproduce said content data from start time specified by said operator;
a movement control device for moving said operator within said operation range according to the reproduction of the content data,
a detection device for detecting whether or not said user makes contact with said operator; and
a specifying device for specifying reproduction time of said content data corresponding to a position in the operation area indicated by said operator, when said reproduction control device stops the reproduction of said content data being caused by the contact of said operational personnel with said operator being detected, and when said detection device detects that said operational personnel does not make contact with said operator,
wherein said reproduction control device stops the reproduction of said content data being caused by the contact of said operational personnel with said operator being detected, and when said detection device detects that said operational personnel does not make contact with said operator, said reproduction control device controls said reproduction device to resumes the reproduction of said content data from said computed reproduction time.

The information reproducing apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein, when said acquisition device acquires said content data and elapsed-time information indicating elapsed time in reproducing the content data, said movement control device controls said operator according to the reproduction time of the content data based on said elapsed-time information which is acquired during the reproduction of said content data.
8. The information reproducing apparatus according to claim 7 , further comprising:
an analysis device for analyzing a change in amount of information according to the elapsed time in reproducing the content data based on said acquired content data and elapsed-time information; and
a display control device for causing display device to display the change in amount of information on the content data according to the elapsed time in a form of level information, the change in amount of information on the content data according to the elapsed time being analyzed in a whole of said acquired content data, and said display device has a display area where the level information on the whole of said content data is simultaneously displayed,
wherein said operation device has said operator which is moved within the operation area corresponding to the display area of said level information.
