Abstract

The invention provides a method of treatment of hot flush with S-mirtazapine and the use of S-mirtazapine for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of hot flush.

Claims (7)

3 . A method of treating hot flush in a patient in need of treatment, the method comprising administering an effective amount of pure S-mirtazapine.

4 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the S-mirtazapine is present in an amount of more than 80% of the total mirtazapine content.

5 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the S-mirtazapine is present in an amount of at least 90% of the total mirtazapine content.

6 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the S-mirtazapine is present in an amount of 95% of the total mirtazapine content.

7 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the S-mirtazapine is present in an amount of 99% of the total mirtazapine content.

8 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the S-mirtazapine is present in an amount of 99.5% of the total mirtazapine content.
